Good but…
Pros:

Breakfast was simple but great.
Possibility to rent a bike at a reasonable price.
Short walking distance to the lake (steep road). There are sunbeds and sunshades on the lakeside which you can use free of charge.
Sauna is also available free of charge (but you have to ask them to turn it on if you would like to use it 1 hour ahead).

Cons:

There is no fridge in the room.
No safe / deposit box in the room.
Really basic furniture.
No shops nearby.
After 7PM there is actually no hotel personel in the hotel, reception and the hotel itself is closed (you can use your room card to enter the building).
If you would like to have something extra besides the really basics, you have to pay for it (better view, better parking option, robe etc). We saw many free rooms with lake view during our stay, some hotels offer a free room upgrade in this case to increase guest satisfaction.

The hotel has good bones but a lot of potential is wasted.
Pros:

The location is great as the hotel is situated right by the lake. There are two restaurants on the hotel grounds. We tried the bistro at the lake which was really nice and exceeded our expectations (even though it was a little pricey). We had a great view from our room and our bathroom was very up to date.

Cons:

The hotel staff at the reception and at breakfast weren’t very hospitable. The decoration in the general areas as well as in the rooms was odd and didn’t fit the architecture of the building. There wasn’t an overall design theme. The breakfast was very uninspired, with a very cheap-looking charcuterie selection. This seemed odd to us as the hotel obviously aims to attract more well-off customers with the on-site gourmet restaurant.

Es hat im Hotel alles super gepasst!
Wir hatten eine Suite!
Frühstück war sehr gut, vor allem das Gebäck und der Kürbiskernaufstrich!
Nur die Strandbar Mint war überteuert!
Grillwürstl mit Pommes 16,90€.

Schöne Lage am See
Pros:

Der Hotelstrand ist sehr schön und bietet einen direkten Zugang zum See. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück gut. Das Familienzimmer war großzügig geschnitten und hochwertig eingerichtet.

Cons:

Leider war die Klimaanlage für uns zum Schlafen zu laut. Da wir nur eine Nacht am Wörthersee verbracht haben, hatten wir bewusst ein Hotel mit Klimaanlage gewählt, da es während unseres Aufenthalts in Österreich sehr heiß war.
Aufgrund der Lautstärke mussten wir die Klimaanlage nachts ausschalten. Die Decken waren für die sommerlichen Temperaturen leider zu dick.

War ein schöner Urlaub,kommen gerne wieder!

Schöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Personal ….das Frühstück war reichlich und für jeden etwas dabei mit schöner Terrasse mit Blick auf den See….und man ist in wenige Fahrminuten in Pörtschach oder Velden….
