The hot tubs were not well maintained and they were located in a messy area. Also the blinds did not keep the room relatively dark.
Having a breakfast/coffee and muffins option would be welcomed as there is nothing close by.

Weird atmosphere. As if we were on a filmset with Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Carribean. They tried to create a seaside atmosphere, based on the fisherman theme, but it completely failed. The place is shabby, looks and feels cheap. It completely lacks the beach style chique like you see in the Danish North Sea Islands which would have been much better. The entire place could do with a revamp. Everything is worn out, in our room the bathroom in particular, and not clean. Also, a complete lack of normal facilities like a decent reception (= hospitality!), a bar or availability of breakfast indeed makes you feel like a fisherman in a small wooden boat. Nevertheless very pricey, likely because of being close to Reykjavik, not to mention that Iceland is a very expensive country anyway. We used 8 hotels during our stay here and this one was the most expensive but the lowest quality. Sorry but that’s it.

Leider war es sehr unruhig. Das lag einerseits an einer amerikanischen Klasse, die zu Gast war (war aber auszuhalten). Andererseits an random Touristen, die sich die Anlage mal angeguckt haben. Diese ist nämlich frei zugänglich. D.h. Ständig kamen Autos, parkten vor der eigenen Tür und die Menschen marschierten dann überall lang, guckten in die Fenster und teilweise auch die Hottubs. Das ist vor allem störend, wenn man selber im Hottub sitzt und vor einem FaceTime benutzt wird.

Die Dusche ist etwas ungünstig konstruiert.

Two lights were out in our room and one of the lights above the bed fell off its mount when we touched it. Two ceiling lights were filled with dead bugs. The hot tubs were scaldingly hot. There were three groups trying to use them and they all said they were way too hot. There is no staff on site to help with anything. The restaurant was not open at all.

Es gab keine Kochgelegenheit und kein Restaurant nebenan, was vor allem fürs Frühstück blöd war. Die Verdunklung war teilweise defekt.

WiFi didn't work, had to ask them to fix it after that was still bad but working. Upper deck beds should clearly be indicated as for kids only. they are not big enough enough for adults (of any size).

Die Hot Tubs waren etwas zu heiß eingestellt.

Die Pools wurden von anderen Gästen reserviert, in dem sie ihre Sachen überall verteilt haben. Die Pools sollten für alle Gäste zugänglich bleiben
