Plane traffic was very noisy but got used to it eventually.
That was close to the airport and transportation the hotel provides from the airport back to the hotel and fronm the hotel back to the airport

It is in a good location, and the facilities are pretty good. Breakfast is pretty good too, and the shuttle service to the airport is very convenient. It also has a restaurant where one can have a pretty good dinner and drinks.
Upon arriving at the DFE airport, I called the 800 number (as per the instructions on my online reservation) to arrange the hotel shuttle van to pick us up and take us to the hotel. Unfortunately, after several attempts to get answers about my transportation request, I was told by a hotel assistant that I did not have a reservation, and she hung up on me. Since I had a copy of my confirmed reservation, I decided to take a taxi (fare: $ 40) to the hotel address, where the young woman at the registration desk found my reservation. After I explained to her the confusion with my reservation and my bad experience searching for a taxi to reach the place, she graciously acknowledged the problem. She gave us a voucher for a free dinner at the hotel restaurant. That was a nice way to respond to our ordeal, and I appreciated their apologies.
Needed a bed for a night for a weather related layover. What could have been a stressful post vacation blizzard layover, was easy, relaxing simple. Hopped the friendly shuttle, checked into our super nice room, chilled, had a simple dinner and a beer. Enjoyed breakfast the next morning and got a swift shuttle ride back to DFW.
We stayed at this hotel the night before a VERY early flight the next day. Huge fans of Hyatt Place, and this hotel had fairly good reviews. Check in was average, room was good.
We went to sleep very early at 8pm, and minutes after we hit the bed, the deafening noise started - wide body jet after wide body jet, in 45 second to 2 min increments until well after midnight. Even a pillow over your head won't stop this noise! Needless to say, we got very little sleep until our 3:45am wake-up.
DO NOT, what ever you do, allow them to put you in a room numbered in 28 or 29!
This hotel should not allocate these rooms unless they are sold out and it's a last resort. They should be more pro-active in noise reduction and do something to those rooms.
We didn't use any other services in the hotel, but with this outrageous inconvenience, I must rate the hotel lower than I might have, had we not had such a bad experience there.
This is our 4th year in a row staying at the Hyatt Place DFW prior to our annual family ski trip and it never fails to impress us.
The rooms are clean and comfy but it’s the staff that make this hotel a 10. A personal greeting at check in with nothing but smiles and “how can I help make your stay better”starts us off. Then there is Benny, who served us a delicious lunch and gave us a “to go bag” with our left overs as well as two bottles of water. He is just delightful.
Then I’ll finish with Keith and Ms Donna who operate the airport shuttle. From ensuring we knew where the TSA Security lines were to letting us know of airports delays, they were fabulous. Whoever trains your staff is doing a great job because from the previous employees to the new ones, they are what make your hotel my favorite year after year. Well done !!
Close to airport. Spacious quiet room. Great breakfast and workout facilities.
