Hotel ohne 3-Sterne
Pros:

Das beste war der Besitzer.
Er ist nett, ebenso wie die Personen im Hotel.
Es war ein großes Familienzimmer, das war recht leise.

Der Innenhof konnte leider nicht genutzt werden. Ich hatte draußen auf der überdachten Terrasse gesessen. Das ging auch, obwohl alles stark abgenutzt ist.

Cons:

Ich hatte bei der Eingrenzung der Hotelsuche 3* ausgewählt. Am Hotel gibt es keine Angaben zu den Hotelsternen, scheint auch keine Sterne zu haben. Angeblich hatte Booking dem Hotel die Sterne verliehen.
Das Hotel war Nachts verschlossen, deswegen durfte mein Freund eine Nacht im Regen draußen verbringen.

Das "Gute" Frühstück kann wirklich nicht als solches bezeichnet werden. Rührei (zwei Eier), 2 Scheiben Banane, Brötchen oder 3 Scheiben Brot (sehr klein), eine Käseecke (5*5cm), ein Glas Saft, 2 Becher Kaffee.

Good place, extremely accommodating owner.
Pros:

The owner, Augusto, was fantastic. He provided much insight as to what to do in and around Tarapoto.
I also liked the location, very close to the main plaza.

Cons:

It's on a very busy street hence, quite noisy, especially if you room is close to the entrance. However, after the first night , I asked Augusto if I could change my room to a quieter one, and he quickly obliged.
The restaurant where you have breakfast, is upstairs and faces the street. So just be aware that it is noisy there as well.

Solid, clean, great mom and pop vibe, great value.
Pros:

As far as Tarspoto goes, this is almost luxury. Clean hot showers, good firm beds. Breakfast included is excellent home cooked a Peruvian food. Is close The the town center and can walk most everywhere.

Hubo un corte de luz programado Dom de 9am a 4pm; si nos hubieran avisado hubiéramos cargado los celulares y desayunado más temprano.
