Oxotel Hotel

Desk staff was great, check-in was easy. I arrived 2 hours prior to check in, so they cleaned my room next and i was able to check in early. The lobby is attached to a super cute coffee shop with excellent wifi so i had a great place to hang out and catch up on some work while they finished up my room. Location-wise, its a 5-10 minute walk to the central square, bars, street food, etc. It does sit right on a busy street, so if you're sensitive to noise, it may affect your stay.

Overall great place nearer to airport in safe quiet neighborhood. All my activities were north of the old town area though and because of 1 way streets and blocked boulevards it was a bit challenging to travel by motor car to those places.

Would still recommend knowing those limitations.

Our room was a good size, had a comfortable bed and included a sink. It is on the Saturday night market which has pros and cons. Convenient spot, but the market goes until midnight.

Nice private room and aesthetics. We came during the holiday season and there was no atmosphere whatsoever; no one hanging out in the small common area or group activities organized, etc. clean but would not recommend if you’re looking to meet people!

Fantastic stay! Staff were welcoming and friendly, room was clean quiet and comfortable. Lovely designed hostel with everything you need. Beautiful bathrooms. Breakfast was good quiet location that is walkable. I would definitely return.

We really enjoyed staying here while in CM. Fun, clean, creative spot. We though not having a full bathroom in room would be difficult for us, but we ended up preferring it, it was great. We took off for one night in Pai and came right back to the oxotel vs looking for something different.

Oxotel is amazing! The design is beautiful, and it is located in a prime location!

The staff are very friendly. They helped me with my luggage when I checked in and out. I feel welcomed and relax when staying there. Highly recommended!

This is a really nice and clean hostels, which is more a hotel but with shared bathrooms. Everything is really clean and staff are friendly. Only down side would be its about 2.3km from main walls and there isnt really any atmosphere to socialise.

Great stay, comfortable rooms, aesthetically pleasing, just poor soundproofing and location is slightly out of the old city.

The interior was chic with so much attention to detail! The Stuff were awesome and ever so helpful. The facilities were neat and clean, including the common areas and shared bathroom. The location was great too!

The place is very clean

My friends recommended this hostel while I lived in Bangkok because of their beautiful decoration. I came to prove that. It was more than their nice decor but the very helpful and friendly staff who suggest me great local attractions. I stayed there just only one day, would definitely come back again to stay longer especially on Saturday. Staff told me that Wualai road will become a walking street. Can't wait.

I'm very comfortable when staying here for 3nights. All young people. Very clean place. U can take red sotheaw car go around with 20-60 bath depend on distance. Form n to airport 40 bath only. Onwer need request the guests not run at 2nd floor.

The private suite is on the 3rd floor of the hostel. Very nice with a private terrace (though It can be loud with the balcony doors opened due to facing a large street). The suite also has a safe but it is not bolted down. When you stay in a private suite, you get a special breakfast as well; nothing special, but just an addition to what they already offer.

I stayed in the hostel rooms too which were nice. This is good for a couple looking for a retreat during their backpacking trip, or a replacement for a less-expensive hotel feel room.

I stayed at the Oxotel Hostel for 3 nights and it was a great experience.

When you walk in, the lobby is small and cute connected to the open space for the dining area is fantastic.

The shared dorms are decent sized with good sized lockers (bring your own lock). The pillows are nice and plump (great for side sleepers) and they have international wall plugs!

Washrooms are clean and spacious; however, there are only bathrooms on the 2nd floor so if you are on the 3rd floor, you may have to walk downstairs which is annoying at night.

Wifi around the hostel is good.

A fridge allows hostellers to keep food. Breakfast is very basic.

The coffee shop downstairs is good - but overpriced. Food carts are closer to the hostel if you turn left, but more options near the old city wall.

What I don't agree with is their refund fee, which is half of your total payment. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and cancelled (and rebooked) within 2 minutes but was still charges the fee.

Great decoration and very well located. The only downside is that it might be a little noisy due to the road in front on the hotel. However, the experience in general was great. Staff was very helpful.

The place is so nice. Have a tiny little common area space and a lovely garden on every floor. Cafe on 1st floor is really stylish. Location is also good. I can walk to the city center and can take a taxi to the airport in 10 mins. Staffs are friendly and helpful. That's really good to stay here.
