Great location for blue lagoon, nice rooms, slightly too expensive
Pros:

- spacious room
- nicely equipped
- very nice and helpful staff
- great location to explore the blue lagoon and the most recent lava field as well as Reykjanes peninsula
- aurora wake-up call after midnight
- nice breakfast with all you need
- very nice and cozy lounge rooms with honesty bar, coffee & tea for free all day

Cons:

- not really kids friendly equipped (eg no hot chocolate or so at the honesty bar/ coffee/ tea machine, no play area, card games or alike)
- view is either parking lot or the thermal power plant… (it’s clear from the location though)
- with our 2 kids it was one of the most expensive rooms on our Iceland trip (389€ for one night) and we think the value for money was just medium

Goede locatie voor Blue Lagoon, vliegveld en Noorderlicht. Fijne lounge met haard, koffieautomaat en gevulde koelkast. Vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Gedateerde kamers, weinig luxe en je betaalt er heel veel voor.

Great place to see Nothern Lights before heading to the airport in the morning.

Magnific. O poveste de iarna !
Pros:

A fost ultima seara unde am oprit pe parcursul sejurului nostru , acest hotel fiind aproape de Blue Lagoon si de aeroport . Amplasarea este in zona vulcanica unde poti vedea adevarata putere a naturii, lava de la eruptiile vulcanice pe intinderi imense. Personalul este extraordinar si doresc sale multumesc pe acesta cale pentru ajutorul acordart in exploatarea zonei .

Pros:

A truly heartfelt and cozy place. The rooms are simple but very comfortable. The staff is absolutely amazing — they woke us up in the middle of the night to watch the Northern Lights, and it was an unbelievable, magical experience we’ll never forget. The hotel is literally just a two-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon. Breakfasts are great (the oatmeal is out of this world!), and dinner was delicious too. There’s also a fantastic virtual tour of Iceland available in the hotel — a really interesting and colorful video, especially mesmerizing when it shows the volcanoes and boiling lava from above.

Betten waren bequem, Personal sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Viel zu teuer für ein abgewohntes Zimmer und einfaches Frühstück. Die Lage ist neben einem Geothermiekraftwerk und die Aussicht entsprechend bescheiden. Der Schwefelgeruch ist aber akzeptabel.

Valeu a pena e repetiria sem sombra de dúvidas.
Pros:

O recepcionista que nos recebeu às 03 h da manhã foi impecável, inclusive em um noite linda aurora, fez questão de nos ensinar como achar pela celular e fazer fotos incríveis.
Comida boa !

Poderia ter mais opções de pães no café da manhã. Jantar muito bom !
