This is our 2nd visit to the hotel. Maria, Dimitri, George, Alexandros, these our the hotels staff that make you feel like family. They went out of their way to make our stay seamless. Breakfast was a nice variety and delicious. Centrally located to downtown. Best place ever….book your stay here
If you’re looking for a true 5-star luxury experience, this hotel is unlikely to meet your expectations.
The property looks nice at first, but a few things let us down. A couple of hours after check-in, while we were resting around 6 p.m., a member of the cleaning staff knocked on our door to ask if we needed towels which felt unnecessary so soon after arriving given that there were clean towels in our bathroom already. As I say we had just arrived. When I told her we were sleeping, she laughed and left, which was unprofessional.
The corridors and lift had dirty carpets and there was an unpleasant odor as a result.
The biggest issue was the safe in our room. There was no key available to use it, and it wasn’t fixed to the wall, meaning it could easily be taken away given how small and it was, even if a key had been provided. We mentioned this to the staff member who was collecting feedback during breakfast, and she said she would ask maintenance to fix it and also would give us the key. Unfortunately, nothing happened during our stay.
Overall, the hotel didn’t quite deliver for us. It may be okay for some, but for the high price and rating, we expected a lot more.
It was beautiful and the staff were exceptionally helpful with activities and restaurant recommendations. The food was a little bland and seemed to be catered to a British palette.
The hotel was lovely and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. From bar staff to cleaning staff. The location is perfect being only 10/15 min stroll to the beautiful town and harbour. Will definitely be back.
Great personnel and service, always willing to help! The breakfast wasn’t up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. Besides the underwhelming variety, the options should have been more designed around Greek cuisine -too similar too a British breakfast.
The location is ideal if you want to be in-town but avoid the noisy center.
There was no gym on-premise, only the possibility to work out at a nearby kickboxing club (didn’t try it out, felt too much of a hustle).
Desayuno excelente
Mycket bra hotel i stan.
Beautiful hotel, nice pool and beautiful restaurant around a pool. Staff is great. The only thing that I didn’t like was the pillow but it’s me: I don’t like big pillows.
Four night stay at the start of October. The weather was very pleasant for the time of year, dry and sun/cloud.
The staff were so friendly and most pleasant particularly Vasilliki.
Really comfy sun loungers around the pool.
We didn’t eat at the restaurant other than for breakfast which was good variety and quality.
Great location to walk into town abs only a ten minute taxi ride from the airport which we loved with only staying for four nights.
The only downside for us was that the sun didn’t reach the pool area until mid morning once the sun came over the mountain at the back of the hotel. The pool was huge for the size of the hotel
Great hotel nice pool great service excellent for a romantic stay
The hotel is really well situated, a short distance (5 min walk) from town. The pool is beautiful, and very relaxing. The rooms are well appointed. But overall what really makes this place are the wonderful staff, who are friendly, helpful and efficient and made the holiday so wonderful.
This hotel has a boutique vibe and in a great location. Breakfast was wonderful and the service was impeccable . Absolutely fabulous!
We stayed for 10 nights and start to finish it was great. First time in Skiathos and the hotel was a great choice.
The staff were an absolute joy to speak and a real plus for the hotel.
Must mention the two ladies on reception. Their knowledge and advice on trips, beaches and the best restaurants were fantastic.
Will definitely be returning.
Thanks
Martin
Pool area tiles a bit tired, need re grouting. Sun beads peeling paint need re doing.
This is a beautiful hotel with special touches throughout . The staff are so friendly and helpful . The restaurant serves a delicious menu & the breakfast is varied & set up to every taste . We had a lovely couple of days here & hope to return soon .
The hotel is at high standard and we got upgraded to a room with private balcony as it was low season. We were told the breakfast during high season was much better but the staff accommodated our culinary requirements. It is a family owned hotel with very much friendly staff.
Really excellent stay and good value for money. Super-clean and excellent service. Kind, engaging staff and spacious, upmarket environment. Pity the restaurant had just closed at the end of the season, although there was good bar food available.
Disappointed all round. Greeted by an over the top male receptionist who booked us in. He didn't really look at me as he was too busy looking at someone else and joining in their conversation. I was told my room was "over there" with a wave of his hand. Had to find the lift and find my own room taking my own case (other reviews pointed out cases were taken to rooms)
Room was ok. Hot water took 15 mins (no exaggeration) to reach the shower. Shouldn't advertise room as having a shared balcony as it is a walkway for other rooms. Sun NEVER shone on the balcony as hotel is poorly designed.
The "award winning" restaurant had closed (no info regarding this on any websites) food was available but wasn't particularly good.
Breakfast was disappointing. The hot food was barely luke warm. Bread had to be put thro the toaster 4 times just to colour the bread.
Didn't go into the hotel bar at night as the cigarette smoke was too much.
Would have been better if a little nearer to beach which was around 15 min walk on quite a busy road
The rooms were very nice & clean they did have a sticker to say floor would get slippery by the shower but this was quite dangerous & the only way to prevent this was by putting towels & bathmats all over the floor. The tv in the room only had 1 news channel in English ordinarily this would not have been a problem as do not go on holiday to watch TV but the weather on the last 2 days of our weeks holiday was not good
with high winds so was forced to spend a lot more time in the room as would of otherwise.
