I am writing to formally express my shock and disappointment regarding an incident that occurred at Faena Hotel Miami Beach on the evening prior to New Year’s Eve, around 8:00 PM.

I had just checked into the hotel and, being genuinely hungry after travel, went to the main restaurant with the intention of having a cocktail and a light meal before my later dinner reservation. I sat at the bar, ordered a drink, and was waiting to be served.

Shortly after, a waiter approached me and demanded that I leave my seat immediately, threatening to call a manager if I did not comply. Moments later, a manager arrived and behaved in an openly rude, aggressive, and deeply disrespectful manner. He removed the chair from under me, instructed the staff not to serve me anything no food, no drinks and told me that I was not allowed to visit the restaurant.

When I explained that I was a guest staying at the hotel, he accused me of lying. The situation escalated further when he used obscene language and told me to “go f*** myself.”

This level of behavior is absolutely unacceptable in any establishment, let alone a hotel positioning itself as a luxury, world-class destination.

To be very clear: it was the most disgusting place with the worst service I have ever experienced.
The service was especially atrocious in the restaurant, and guests are forced to double-check their bills due to constant errors and negligence.

I am deeply concerned not only by the lack of professionalism, but by the complete absence of basic respect toward paying guests. This incident left me humiliated, shocked, and questioning how such conduct is tolerated within the Faena brand.

I expect a formal investigation into this matter, a written apology, and a clear explanation of what corrective actions will be taken to ensure that no other guest is treated in this manner.

She assisted me with booking the Faena Theatre and thoughtfully selected and secured all of my dinner reservations as well. Every detail was handled seamlessly, and everything went smoothly.

Faena is the definition of class and understated luxury in Miami. It’s quiet, elegant, and peaceful — a true escape from the usual Miami madness the moment you arrive. Everything about the property feels intentional, from the serene beachfront to the impeccable food and world-class service.

A special mention to Chino, who makes the beachfront experience unforgettable. He has a rare ability to make you feel like family while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. His attention to detail is exceptional — many times you don’t even need to order because he remembers exactly what you like. That level of care and consistency is what sets Faena apart.

The Living Room is also an incredible place for a night out. With live music, a classy dress code, and an intimate, sophisticated atmosphere, it offers a refined alternative to the typical Miami nightlife scene. It’s elegant, social, and effortlessly cool.

From a dining perspective, Faena delivers across the board. Los Fuegos is a superb Argentinian dining experience and easily one of the best choices in Miami Beach — consistently excellent food in a beautiful setting. Pao is equally outstanding, offering a refined, elevated culinary experience that perfectly matches the spirit of the hotel.

Amazing stay! Luxury accommodations as always and personalized and expert service awaited me from the very first second I arrived to the very last second I left the property. Food and drinks were next level. Los Fuegos was perfect for lunch and dinner, and pool and beach service were to die for, truly the best day. Living Room Bar is always a highlight for me. The staff and curated vibe are top notch and I always have the most amazing time!!! Amir and Veronica are the best and are so fun and sweet, always take care of everyone. The vibe they have curated is impeccable - nothing beats it.
