Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.

Hard to believe it’s rated so high. Rooms smell like mildew. Beds are old. Cleaning crew is not great. Didn’t empty our wastebasket. Staff tries to be helpful but overall it’s been a terrible experience.

We found the beds quite uncomfortable. We think they maybe had waterproof covers, which with all the heavy bedding made them extremely hot.
Я забронировала номер одной категории, но на месте оказалось, что у отеля неправильное описание и фото номера - они не соответствовали тому, что я выбрала и забронировала. На одну из трех ночей мне предложили подходящий номер - похожей категории, но на две другие мне предоставили номер более низкой категории при этом не вернув разницу в цене. То есть я заплатила за более дешевый номер дороже, чем он стоит на самом деле, и сотрудники отказались вернуть мне разницу в цене объяснив это только тем, что оплата уже была проведена.
В номере отсутствовала часть удобств, которые были заявлены в описании - например, мини-бар, который подразумевает наличие холодильника.
Вообщем, описание номеров отеля совсем не соответствует реальности. После одной ночи у нас в номере была грязная посуда - после уборки номера она так и осталась стоять там.
В итоге 2 дня мы жили с грязной посудой. Уборка номеров осуществляется не очень качественно.
На завтраке очень мало места и не протолкнуться, все столы заняты.
Больше всего взбесило отношение сотрудников, которые не хотели помочь и предложили мне жить в более худшем номере, но по цене улучшенного.
Very close location to the trainstation, which is nice when you arrive Aguas Caliente late evening or leave early in the morning. Friendly and helpfull staff.
Very comfortable and convenient hotel. A 3 minute walk from train station, comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast, and great attention from the staff…. Especially Karla and Gabriella 😉We hope to be back.
I chose to stay here because it's got a super convenient location right next to the train station right in the middle of Aguas Calientes, and I'm so happy I did. I had an excellent time. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great (and they start serving breakfast early, around 5am, which is perfect for getting an early start on Machu Picchu), and the staff are all super nice. I got so much great help and advice for Karla and Maryland at the front desk, and everyone else who worked at breakfast and cleaning was friendly. Also, even though the hotel is close to the train station, I didn't hear any noise from it and slept great. Excellent stay overall and a great place to recover after a ton of hiking at Machu Picchu.
Great location, pretty good as far as cleanliness. Bed was comfortable. We had two rooms and one was really good, the other not so much but it was cheaper so I guess what is expected. Heater in the suite not the other basic room. Decent breakfast but ends too early. Probably a good option for people staying one night and doing an early hike and leaving. But if you’re staying a few days, not sure this is a good option.
No major issues but we got a suite as one of our rooms which advertised bathrobe and slippers and didn’t get that. Also advertised laundry which wasn’t true at all. You have to take it somewhere else completely yourself. Also says on the website they have spa services which they don’t at all. Breakfast was very early and ended at 8:30 which is too early if you’re not doing an early hike.

We had one children room and one adults room and they put us on different floors
Hotel bien ubicado cerca de la estación del tren. Nos esperaron a nuestro arribo tarde en la noche. El desayuno bien, y las habitaciones muy cómodas.
Janeth at Punku was so helpful during our brief visit! She made sure we understood how to get to Machu Picchu, printed our tickets and had great dining recommendations.
The hotel is small, quiet and has an inviting atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay.
