Canton Tower Views, Canton Tower-Level Disappointment
Pros:

Amazing location! I even scored a room with a Canton Tower view, which was definitely the highlight. The view was stunning. Unfortunately, everything inside the room was less so.

Hygiene, in particular, needs some serious help. I found hair in my breakfast (extra protein I didn’t order), and the bed sheets didn’t seem particularly… fresh. Any remaining optimism vanished when I watched housekeeping place a fresh set of blanket directly onto the sofa before making the bed. The same sofa I sit on daily. This did not exactly boost my confidence in the cleanliness of the linens.

Then came the disappearing-items subplot. Some of my personal belongings were thrown away despite very clearly not being in the trash. When I asked about it, the items were magically returned in perfect condition. The official explanation? “Sorry, your items fell off the desk and we thought you didn’t want it anymore.” Because yes, that’s obviously how guests signal they want their belongings disposed of.

Lastly, a special mention to James Guo at the concierge counter, who was impressively clueless and noticeably uninterested when I asked for recommendations. A concierge desk without help is… a bold concept.

Great view, great location but cleanliness and service definitely need to catch up.

Great stay throughout during my Gz trip.
Pros:

The hotel is situated right in the heart of the city, very close to underground Metro, shopping, F&B and amenities. The atmosphere of the hotel is simple yet luxury and made me felt at home. Room size were spacious, very clean and well equipped with a separate closet, sofa set, working / dining desk, international adapters, automatic curtain / sheers and a good view of the city. Noise level and sound proofing in the room is very good. Service is very good with attentive and responsive staff at each service level. Amenities were also very good with well equipped gym, spa and infinity pool facing the Canton tower. Will definitely come back one day.

Best part of my stay - the staff

Our recent weeklong stay was a delight from the very moment we arrived. We were thrilled to find our room as spacious and beautifully designed as we had hoped.

Each morning, our visit to the Dining Room was made special by the warm greetings of the lead host, Andy Luo, and his wonderful team. Andy took such thoughtful care of us—even meticulously preparing our seven eggs to be “soft boiled, exactly 3 minutes,” just as we liked. He also shared engaging stories and local tips that brought our travel itinerary to life, gently refining our sometimes over-imaginative AI-generated plans.

A heartfelt five stars to the entire staff. Thank you for making our stay so personally memorable.

Perfect location in Tianhe
Pros:

We stayed at the Park Hyatt Guangzhou Tianhe for one week as a couple and genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay. The hotel felt very calm, elegant and extremely comfortable. The views from the rooms and public areas are stunning.

Breakfast was a real highlight for us. Excellent buffet with a wide selection, high-quality ingredients, and a relaxed atmosphere.

We also loved the location. The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of several major shopping malls and many great restaurants.

The service was attentive and professional, warm and welcoming. Special thanks to General Manager Jakob for high great hospitality and attention to detail. Highly recommended.

Номера с 51 по 61 этажи. Берите с видом на Кантонскую башню - будет очень красочно.
Завтраки для Китая отличные)

Cons:

Английский как и везде в Азии - хромает у части персонала) но надо отдать должное: очень старались и поняли меня в конце концов.
Грязный ковролин в коридорах это конечно мрак) как? Почему? Ответа нет 🤣 это же Хаятт ну как так то?

Five Star Lives Up To Standard at Reasonable Price
Pros:

Spectacular views from rooms and all common areas, including rooftop bar. Great location in tourist area near opera house. Excellent and vast breakfast for about $34.00 USD. Very attentive staff, wonderful interior decoration with sculptures, great swimming pool for laps, excellent gym, large rooms with excellent lighting and bathrooms, and luxurious toilets. Lives up to 5 star standard, but the daily room rate really reasonable

Cons:

Concierge services quite limited. For example, Concierge does not arrange tours or book tickets.The breakfast, while good, is expensive.
