Very old room stock. Many problems inside the rooms. The general area is normal, the beach is private and the sun loungers with umbrellas are of the old format. Bed linen and towels have not been changed, probably for several years. The staff is friendly, the cuisine is tolerable, but there are still wishes for improvement of cleanliness. The location is convenient, in accordance with the price/quality there are no special complaints.
Don’t Go ! Not 4star more like 1Star good location terrible old hotel needs bulldozing. Been to Hurgarda 17 times worst hotel yet. Do t even come here on a budget. Food cold and un eatable Love Egypt but don’t stay here rooms in a shocking state no service in between meals at all no water in room etc
Some reviewers have called this hotel a " little gem", which when you read the review is completely untrue. First of all, it is necessary to define very clearly what the target audience is focused on. Tourists from Russia. The staff does not understand English well and tries very hard to explain everything in Russian even though I do not speak this language.
The animators are very familiar and sometimes the attitude towards the guests is disrespectful. I especially emphasize the woman - the animator from Russia. Very rude in her expressions and communication.
! Remember that you must have water bottles so that you can fill them, because the hotel has only 2 places in the lobby all day, on the beach at certain hours.
! You should also bring a coffee mug with you so as not to burn your fingers with the small paper cups that the hotel offers. For this reason, I had to buy a mug.
The food is uniform. Every day, both for lunch and dinner, the same thing. Overcooked chicken and beef in sauce. Also, for 5 days, for lunch and dinner, overcooked, hard mackerel, which was difficult to even break apart.
My room was normal, except for the fact that the cleaner had to be called every 2 days to finally wash the floor properly. The clumps of long hair from previous residents on all sides were disgusting.
very good place . i wish i can visit again
All the staff are good in Le pacha but i especially want to thank Khaled from the restaurant bar.
Khaled has always been an outstanding presence in any bar he works at, and his skills with guests are truly remarkable. Whether it's in a restaurant bar or at the beach bar, his ability to make every guest feel welcome and valued stands out. At the restaurant bar, he’s always efficient, attentive, and effortlessly creates a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. Guests appreciate his ability to remember their names, preferences, and moods, making each visit feel personal.
But at the beach bar, Khaled truly comes alive. It’s clear this is the place where he truly belongs. His natural charm and ease with people are amplified by the laid-back, sun-kissed environment. Every guest seems to be drawn to him, and the energy he brings to the beach bar transforms the space into something more than just a place to have a drink—it's a place to connect, relax, and enjoy the moment. Time and again, I’ve heard nothing but positive feedback from guests, praising how he goes above and beyond to make their experience special. Khaled doesn’t just do his job; he makes it an experience people want to come back for.
Travelled with my partner and my dad who’s 90, we’ve stayed at the majority of the beach hotels in the town centre which have better reviews, risking it a bit with the reviews for here.
How wrong we were, it’s brilliant. Yes the rooms are dated but clean and everything serves its purpose we’re in 1407 ground floor front and back door private patio veiw of the pool and manicured gardens and palm trees, air con works perfectly mini fridge, if you want to stock it yourself. Fill your water bottles in reception it won’t kill you.
The food is amazing always hot and plentiful different choices each day including home made chips that were the best, the usual chicken beef or fish. And something from the bbq.
The beach has a bar a snack bar, loads of sun beds. Bit rocky to get in but floated over them.
Reception made sure us English had a kettle to make a brew, brought our own Yorkshire tea bags 😉.
It’s a nice size, especially for my dad everything in close proximity beach 2 mins restaurant 2 mins pool 30 seconds, dining room is on the first floor and no lifts at all. We managed no problem.
The pools and gardens are well maintained it’s a beautiful little resort, and no crazy music blaring out all day.
You can actually relax.
We’re not for the animation, however we were invited, and they did have a show each evening again not for us.
We did take our own cups for beers on an evening shame to waste so much plastic each time you get a drink. And saves getting up every ten minutes, and the staff don’t mind.
In the town centre so all the hustle and bustle on your doorstep, brilliant for all your handbags and T shirts.
The marina 15 minutes walk away just turn right out of reception.
Very few English again no problem to us, but you’re missing a bargain. Give Le Pacha a try absolutely worth every penny.
If you are looking for a cheap vacation, this is it. Everything was clean. The rooms are older but still clean and nice. The food was repeated every day and there were just a few options to choose from. The employees didn't know English, you'd better communicate in German or Russian. The hotel is in the middle of the center, so you have everything close by. We also used the restaurant that the hotel has and it was fine, nothing special. The biggest disappointment was the entertainment. Their evening performance was terrible, every single one. Not to mention miss hotel, which downright humiliates women. They talked just with Russian-speaking guests. We are giving less stars for rating just because the entire entertaining team and their approach. Otherwise, the hotel was valuable for the price.
It’s great value for money, this hotel. There a nice jetty and a small reef where fish gather.
The people, the entire staff makes this hotel worth a while. Everyone is so polite, yet friendly and respectful.
I know people read mostly for food, so if you’re into pastry, pastas and meat, you’ll have a blast. Also, plenty of vegetarian options, salads and vegetables.
Had a lovely time!
Location
All-inclusive rates do not include alcoholic beverages if booked from booking.com. You only know about that during check-in. Staff are not so friendly or helpful to foreigners. The housekeeping did their job well before i checked in my room, i.e., there were long black hairs all around the bathroom (check the picture i added to this review). The beverages were low quality, i could only drink soda water after some point. The food served was low quality during breakfast and dinner. Pool and beach front cafes were closed early during the day time. Check-in takes a lot of time
It is not the newest and most modern resort, but it was good overall and the stay more enjoyable than expected. It is important to understand and practice the egyptian tipping culture and you will notice an immediate improvement of the staff relationships.
The food at the buffets did not have too many variations.
The reciptionists and the location
Noisy
Everything.Comming for the third time here Definitely we'll come back..
.
Some staff are very nice especially at the beach bar.
Food is nice with wide range.
Nice beach and pool area.
We had some service at the spa section ehich is beautiful with kind staff.
Receptionists were very rude at checking in. They refused to show us the room before we pay. They were also extremely rude at check out. We were a bit late at check out and they phoned and argued rudely that we need to pay an extra day if we are not at the reception shortly.
Music is very loud almost all day, which is cool if you like party, if you like quiet to chill it's not your place though.
Rooms are very simple (only a few looklike in the pictures) and bathrooms are below standard. It was clean though.
For 2 persons 4 nights wepayed an extra $13 for wifi with very weak reception at the whole area.
Im Großen und Ganzen war es im LePacha o.k. Das Hotel und die Ausstattung bedarf einer dringenden Renovierung.
the staff at the reception, in the lobby and also on the beach were friendly and many thanks to the kind and helpful receptionist Mr. Kero.
the location of the hotel is good, close to shops, restaurants
the beach is maintained, sandy, gradual entry into the sea
The bath was terrible. I'm sorry to write such a review, but it's true
breakfast - there was a long wait for the omelets, unfortunately only one cook. they didn't have boiled eggs,
lunches: nothing extra, limited choice
dinner: I expected more from it, I preferred to eat outside the hotel
some mattresses and beach deck chair would be good to change
Someone call me in my room and say don’t make contact with other clients In hotel because I’m Egyptian
