A little gem.
Pros:

My 3rd stay at this lovely family run hotel.It's small, pretty,warm and comfortable.Staff are friendly and helpful and Anca,the young waitress,is very entertaining.The food is excellent,love the breakfast in the dining room overlooking the lake.Dinner choice is limited, choice of 2 main courses,one being vegetarian,and was quite salty.Several guests mentioned this and the chef did take notice.We were disappointed that ice cream wasn't available.Zell is quite small so the hotel is near to all amenities.I don't ski but there are lovely walks,free local transport with the free guest pass from the hotel.This took me on a 3 hour journey to the Krimml waterfalls and back.Innsbruck and Salzburg are about 2 hours by train with cheaper prices than the UK.Already have next year planned.

Superb hotel !!!!!
Pros:

What an amazing hotel staff and owners are brilliant couldnt do enough for us on our third visit to the hotel - we managed to get a booking in the restaurant this year as booked out on previous visits - and by far the best food we had all week !!!
Looking forward to the schnapps and chats next year

A comfortable stay with friendly welcoming staff
Pros:

Stayed at Hotel Seehof as part of a package ski holiday with my son. Staff were very friendly, twin rooms basic but comfortable and clean. We did half board and the breakfasts and dinners were good. Within easy walking distance of the ski-lift and conveniently located in the village with beautiful views of the lake. There is a Trainline just outside the hotel but we did not find that at all disturbing.

If the weather is likely to be hot, and you want to sleep and have a quiet stay - do not stay here!

Close to town

Cons:

Nylon elastic bed sheets. Tiny shower. Outdated bathroom. No A/C. Room was very hot and stuffy with just a small fan. The room was right next to the railway track so opening the balcony door to get cooler air in meant we were woken by the train. Had two sleepless nights. In summary, if you visit during hot weather and want to sleep do not stay here!

Cosy and comfortable
Pros:

We stayed here over Christmas while skiing, 1st impressions were warm and welcoming.
This is a gem of a hotel, fantastic friendly staff and very clean.
The bar and restaurant are lovely, the food is amazing. We ate here twice and both meals were equally the best we had all week.

Great location, close to bars etc. we had a lake view room and you need the earplugs (provided) as the trains run all night.

We would definitely stay here again
