Comfortable stay in a great hotel
Pros:

This is a great place to stay when you visit Nisyros! When we got off the ferry, our bags were picked up by the hotel, which was a great service. So we just had to take a short walk to get to the hotel from the ferry. It is nice and quiet but there are lots of restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet was generous. We rented a car at the ferry and were able to park it in a parking lot right next to the hotel which was a great advantage.

Pros:

We were picked up from the Port - which is always nice, the room was clean with a (distant) sea view balcony. Breakfast was great and we were able to eat it on the terrace by the pool. Loads of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance

Tadellos für 1 oder zwei Nächte mit rundem Frühstück aber schwer verständlicher Pool-Vorschrift.
Pros:

Es ist ein solides,gepflegtes Mittelklassehotel mit einer schattigen Frühstücksterrasse und einem zufriedenstellenden Bufett, auf dem kleine Leckereien wie bereits belegte Schafskäsekanapées zu finden waren, die appetitanregend präsentiert wurden. Es verfügte über einen großen, sauberen Swimmingpool, auf den ich mich den ganzen Tag im Gebirge schon sehr gefreut hatte. Leider,leider durfte er nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit bis morgens um 8°° h nicht benutzt werden : als Grund gab mir der durchaus freundliche Geschäftsführer Takis an, diese Regelung bestehe aus Sicherheitsgründen, denn Gäste könnten sich u.U. alkoholisiert in den Pool begeben. Ich traf noch bei Tageslicht (~19.20h) ein, war aber bereits von dieser strengen Regelung betroffen. Schade! Vermutlich hatte es in der Vergangenheit negative Vorfälle seitens der Gäste gegeben---- Wie könnte es dazu in anderer Weise gekommen sein,eine solche Bevormundung zu installieren ?! -
Ansonsten gab es nichts zu kritisieren.-

Das bereits ab halb acht abends für zwölf Std. gesperrte Schwimmbecken (s.o.)

Pros:

Location was great and the staff was very accommodating. Everything was clean and well appointed. Easy to access when coming from the ferry and lots of stores and restaurants that were excellent nearby. Access to parking was a definite plus!

Cons:

Bathrooms were very small and the showers were the usual Greek inconveniently small showers where the water pressure was low and the floors would definitely get flooded with every shower.

Een goed hotel op een mooie centrale plek in Mandraki en op loopafstand van de haven.
Pros:

Prima locatie met zicht op zee. Ontbijtbuffet was netjes met voldoende keus. De familie en het personeel waren erg aardig en behulpzaam. De koffers werden bij aankomst in de haven opgehaald en naar het hotel gebracht, waardoor de wandeling naar het hotel op het gemak kon worden afgelegd. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is gewoon heel goed voor wat je geleverd krijgt.

Cons:

De douchebak in de badkamer was klein waardoor het douchegordijn geregeld in de weg zat. Het hotel is naar schatting nog uit de vorige eeuw en toen warende soort badkamers en douches heel gewoon in Griekenland. Een extra rand om de douchebak met daarop een douchewand met schuifdeuren zou al flink helpen. Vervelend waren de wespen bij het ontbijt. Die werden af en toe wel verwijderd, maar ze bleven nadrukkelijk aanwezig.
