Très bel hôtel , central.
I enjoyed the proximity to all of the restaurants and attractions we toured!
The value for what I received left much to be desired. Considering the reviews and high talks I had very high expectations. At the initial check-in at 1pm I was told my room was almost ready and it was drug out even more after speaking to another representative hours later. Only for the room to become available at 4p after the shift changed. The hotel lobby personnel were not very transparent or honest about the status of the rooms or check in process and caused me wasted hours of sitting in a lobby after I was informed my room was “almost ready and shouldn’t be much longer” before I could get in. That turned into a 3-4 hour wait.
Additionally, water pressure was very odd with the sink and shower. At one point the shower water stopped. I had to turn the faucet off and turn back on to restart my shower.
Traffic could be much better managed at the entry of the property.
All staff were extremely nice and helpful.
Curbside check in was a bit tricky
Very clean and customer service was great.
I do not recommend the corner King suite. You can hear all the activities on the block. It is bad when you come into the suite and they have earplugs for you to sleep on the desk with a note.

Quiet , clean and perfect location.
Loved our first trip to Chicago and the stay at LondonHouse hotel. Ideally situated at corner of East Wacker and Michigan Avenue, so can walk to most of the sites or if going further afield use the nearby L or buses. Room 934 had a super comfy king size bed and a great view from the bathroom. Room was spacious and modern bathroom. Only 2 small niggles, on first morning woke up to a layer of dust over everything. Must have come through ventilation system perhaps related to thunder storm during the night. Well cleaned in the morning and never happened again so must have been a freak event. The other niggle and may have been location of the room overlooking Michigan Avenue was the car noise/sirens at night. Must be a known issue as there was a note with complimentary ear plugs in the room. I am a heavy sleeper so once asleep wasn't an issue for me but something to be aware of if noise sensitive at that side of the hotel. Staff were all a delight from front of house, to the barman in the lobby bar and the housekeeping staff. Destination elevators worked well except once where didn't stop at our floor. Judging by the queue for the rooftop bar most evenings, its a cool spot to hang out in. Overall great hotel, lovely room in a fantastic location for tourists and super staff. Definitely recommend
everything honestly
the rooftop bar, the way it was advertised online it looked like it was a nice casual experience. We got there and all the seating was roped off for vip. It would have been nice for that to be relayed in the website.
I had my proposal here and Manny and Lindsay were excellent and made it very easy for me. I would highly recommend.

The hotel was beautiful. The service was great. Everything was just right. I came in town to visit a friend who's been under the weather. I want to give a special thank you to Allen. He was the bellman/ concierge, and he just took care of me every time I came up or down and needed water or some information about the city, he was always there with a smile. I appreciate Allen's helpful nature, he's definitely an asset to the London House!
We had an amazing experience at LondonHouse! I proposed there, and everything went perfectly. The setting was beautiful, the atmosphere was wonderful, and everyone in our group had such a great time. It made this special moment even more memorable. Highly recommended for a celebration or special occasion!
