I cannot put into words how amazing our proposal was. Manny, Lindsay and Sid did an amazing job in every way. The setup was beautiful, and the pictures were even better. He had no clue thanks to all of the planning and setup done. Everything was absolutely perfect!
True test of a hotel is how they handle service recovery when things don’t go perfectly, I submitted feedback on the Hilton app about a minor issue when I arrived this week, and literally within 5 minutes the manager at LondonHouse, Ibrahim, called me to apologize and resolve the issue despite it being past 10pm! They were true to their word and the stay was great. Had no idea I’d get such a quick response and really appreciate management that is paying attention to detail.
I left some expensive shoes on my room and the housekeeping staff turned them in, so that I could pick them up with no problem. I appreciate that!!!
Great location!

A fantastic stay from beginning to end! Family arrived via car and plane for the river dyeing for St Patrick’s Day. Beautiful hotel, outstanding staff from check in to valet to bartenders to check out!!
The room offered me an exceptional view. It was very clean and the bed was confortable
The duvet cover didn't fit properly and was in direct contact with the duvet, which I don't think is washed after every guest
From the moment my husband and I arrived we were greeted with very friendly faces and people. Marcus stood out and upgraded us to a beautiful room over looking the water. Then, there is Taylor she is not a server slash bartender. She took the time to help my husband and I download the train station app. The extra mile and the smile she naturally has is all you need. I will highly recommend this place again.
We arrived in our rental car and caught off guard by valet parking best described as organized chaos; but, I felt my safety was undermined. Our connecting Vista Room Suites were unfortunately next to a room used for partying guests whom friends congregated in front of our doors as well as many comings and goings. Since the doors do not soft close, we endured constant noise from door slamming. One of our rooms had an inoperative keypad to which my request for repair denied having only access through one door and then using connection door. When I asked for a modest late check out due to poor sleep, the associate denied it claiming I was being dishonest about 3:00 a.m. noise complaint on second night and reprimanded me for not reporting disturbances on first night. After several attempts for a partial refund, I am now disputing the room charges with my bank card.
RoomRankView.com made this stay even better. Before booking at LondonHouse Chicago, I checked the room view rankings on the site so I knew what kind of view to expect instead of just rolling the dice with a random room assignment. I am really glad I used it.
LondonHouse itself was excellent. The location right on the river is hard to beat, and it is within walking distance of a lot of great spots downtown. The room was clean, modern, and the staff handled a very busy weekend smoothly.
If you care about the view from your room when staying in Chicago, definitely check RoomRankView before booking. It made a noticeable difference in the overall experience.
Our stay at LondonHouse was wonderful, we couldn't recommend it enough! The room was clean and comfortable plus the location cannot be beat. The staff was excellent. Allen R. in particular always greeted us with a smile and went out of his way to store our bags on our last day so we could enjoy Chicago a few more hours before our flight home. We'll definitely be coming back!
We had a lovely experience at London house. Allen R started our stay with being a great director on where to go. He even remembered our name and was a pleasure to see everytime we left for our outings of the day. Our rooms were clean and quiet. We would stay here again
I enjoyed my prior stays at the LondonHouse enough that I booked again. It's become somewhere I want to be when I'm in Chicago. This is a property within the Hilton portfolio.
LOCATION: Right on the river, well-positioned for most downtown attractions including Millennium Park, which is about a 15 minute walk but an interesting one.
SERVICE: Never bad. The only useful thing to know is you enter on street level and the lobby is one floor up. No turndown service, but cleaning is flexible about when they come in.
ROOM and DECOR: Modern, elegant and upscale chain with some local touches. A very nice place to spend time in.
VIEW: This is why you book here. The river views are all that and worth paying extra for. Make sure your room has one - the descriptions on Hilton's website. I did get upgraded once to a "Vista room" (which is the category with that view) - now I book it because I don't want that left to chance.
WIFI: No issues.
FOOD: I ate at the lobby cafe, Bridges, twice. The mushroom pappardelle was tasty, but the pasta slightly too al dente. The southwest club was a good choice if you were hungry.
VALUE: You're going to pay extra for the view here. It is worth it to me, particularly at sunset. If you have Hilton status, I think you get better value using the credit for lunch or dinner at Bridges than for breakfast.
I had a wonderful stay at LondonHouse Chicago.
A special thank you to Fikret, who took excellent care of me from the very beginning. He guided me through the check-in process, helped with luggage storage, and even recommended that I borrow an umbrella from the hotel when it was raining that day. That thoughtful gesture made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of. He was always friendly, warm, and approachable.
This was my first time visiting Chicago, and choosing to stay here made the experience even more memorable. I was impressed by both the outstanding service and the beauty of the hotel. The rooftop view is amazing, and the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable.
Highly recommended!
