Hotel Caribbean Island Piso 1

Razonable para el precio

Hice un regalo a mis tías, el viaje a San Andrés islas y realice la reservación en este hotel; pues resultó que se llegó el día de las vacaciones y mis tías llegaron al hotel y en dicho hotel DESCONOCÍAN LA RESERVACIÓN. Les dijeron que ellos no tienen ningún convenio con hotels.com que tenían que buscar otro hotel. Afortunadamente no fueron en temporada alta y encontraron en donde hospedarse, pero me pareció de mal gusto que tengan aún este hotel en la página de hotels.com y nos hagan pasar un susto y mal rato por NO ESTAR ACTUALIZADOS.

Habitación interior

+ Property conveniently located close to ALL THE ACTION and literally across the road from the beach.
+Everything within walking distance (restaurants, clubs, bars, shopping)
+Property is well-kept and clean
+staff very friendly and accommodating
- We were on ground floor, meeting place (hangout) right outside, so you hear EVERYTHING thats right outside your door.
-Being on main floor you cant open your curtains or door so you remain with no outside light (unless you dont mind people looking in at you LOL)
- nasty smell in the bathroom
- wifi works mostly in common area so theres always people outside our room

Die Lage ist perfekt. Direkt in der Fussgängerzone - egal ob shopping, strand oder ausgang, alles ist gut und schnell zu erreichen. Bei mir waren einige Dinge nicht ganz sauber, aber nicht so schlimm, dass man sich ekeln müsste. Das personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und aufgestellt.
Würde wieder hierher kommen.

Tive uma boa hospedagem no Caribbean Island Piso 1. O hotel é muito bem localizado, na frente da praia, com muitas facilidades próximas - mercado, restaurantes,agências de turismo, comércio em geral. Com relação ao quarto, o mesmo tem split, a cama é confortável e a tv a cabo tem uma gama razoável de canais. Possui também um anexo com geladeira, cooktop e um sofá, mas sem ar-condicionado. Com relação ao wi-fi, este só funcionava bem nesse anexo, no quarto o sinal era nulo. Os funcionários do hotel sempre foram solícitos quando requisitados. Boa relação custo-benefício. Recomendo.

Es un apartamento muy buen situado al frente Del Mar, te realizan el aseo todos los días, tiene la comodidad de tener cocina, nevera. Y la gente muy amable. Las camas traquean mucho así que pienso que pueden mejorar en eso.

Hotel com excelente localização, a poucos passos das "praias principais", restaurantes, mercados e lojinhas. Quarto bem equipado (fogão, sanduicheira, geladeira, talheres, copos, pratos). Pessoal atencioso e cordial. Apesar de não ter café da manhã incluído, toda manha tinha um café de cortesia servido no hotel. Wifi com boa velocidade (embora não chegasse com qualidade em todos os cômodos do quarto). Diferente do que foi anunciado, havia água quente em boa quantidade no chuveiro.

it's apparently really hard to get a comfortable bed on this island, long have I tried, and these beds are pretty average for here (which is quite bad), the staff is very good, they do well with that they have to work with, there are zero English channels and no way to turn the language or subtitles, as is the norm here as well, just be aware. and the internet or free wifi is not good enough to support a social media video call or streaming movie, works better in the center of the outdoor lobby where it is really hot but not in all the rooms. I loved the big fridge, decent dishes and kitchenette and a very big bathroom, sadly the safe didn't work, ac was marginal but good enough. I woke up on my birthday on the beach to my pockets getting emptied and they heard about it and brought me a birthday cake, which was super sweet because I was alone and my lady back at home had called to break up with me so honestly, it saved my birthday. I thought the staff were very kind and thoughtfull. The gem of this place is the wonderful staff, they are all amazing. They also did not overcharge me or pull any of the scams on taxes and other mystery fees I've become accustomed to having to argue about on check out with every other Colombian hotel I've stayed at (dozens)

The hotel was great and was close to the beach. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful making sure everything was fine when we got to our room. The room was well cleaned daily and was comfortable.

The room is nice and big. The bed is comfortable. There's no hot water.

The staff is hit and miss. There is one woman who is very nice. The rest of the staff will finish with their phones before even acknowledging you as you stand at the front desk.

The wifi is nearly non-existent. It didn't work when I arrived and was out for more than 24 hours. When it came back, it only worked if I sat near the door (away from the TV and bed). Even then, dial up would have been faster.

There is no public laundry facility. Rather, they offer to do your laundry and charge you per piece. I'm currently traveling for months at a time, and a laundry facility was important in booking this hotel.

Overall, the location is great and the room is big, but the staff and lack of claimed amenities made my time in San Andres less than stellar.

ótima localização e a área interna muito confortável com ar condicionado e internet.Além disso tive um problema que esqueci dinheiro e carteira no hotel e prontamente se dispuseram a me devolver e enviar para o destino em que estava

El hotel esta bien ubicado, lamentablemente estuve en una habitacion de planta baja, con poca luz natural, muy oscura y encajonada. La gente de servicios muy amable.

Excelente localização, quarto amplo e limpo, Internet deixou um pouco a desejar pois só pegava na sala, mas de uma maneira geral recomendo. Preço justo e fácil acesso a todos os locais da ilha.

Apartment serviced daily, clean and good size but sparsely furnished, very basic kitchenette, no microwave and very limited cooking utensils but full sized fridge at least. No views or pool but only metres to the beach and several take-aways and cafes within easy walking distance

A pleasant surprise. I took a chance on a last minute booking at Caribbean Island and I was very pleased. Staff is very courteous & friendly. Being greeted by smiles is always a wonderful first impression. Room was an apartment, w/ kitchenette & living area, bathroom & bedroom. I had room on first floor & I was apprehensive about that, but no noise and the bedroom had a back terrace area with clothes line to hang up beach things for drying. The rooms with beach views are 316 and 321 and I did peek in to see them. Very nice rooms but no kitchenettes. They are the smaller rooms. So either you get the apartment with no view, or the view with no apartment. The hotel is set back from Calle 1, the main pedestrian street along the beach. Being set back keeps the noise to nothing. The rooms are immaculate. The establishment is kept up very well, right down to the nice fluffy towels. Please note, as in many traditional Caribbean places, you will not have hot water. You don't need hot water in such warm weather. The water comes out lightly warm to cool, but not cold. If you can swim in the sea and survive the temperature then the shower shouldn't be an issue.
