Clean!!
Very modern and clean. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff. Highly recommended.
My name is Eduardo Aldea, I stayed at Palmira business club hotel in Moscow, since the 21.04.2021 till 24.04.2021. the situation is the following, the day 22.04.2021 around 9:20 pm I was talking on a business meeting, in a foreign language (Spanish) in the hall of the hotel, always procuring to be respectful with the volume of my voice, because for me is really important to respect and foment the respect among people in common areas, suddenly 2 drunk persons, also guests of the hotel, started with verbal aggressions and insults towards me, the administration and the security guards of the hotel where no more than 10 to 15 meters far from me and they didn’t do anything to avoid the situation going on, even when I asked them from the distance help with the situation. Followed to that I needed to stand up and go directly to ask to the receptionist to please help me with the people who was yelling and insulting me, the only thing that I can think about this situation is that they treat me on that way because of my foreigner status, so basically, I was discriminated.
What shocks me more is that whenever I address the manager of the hotel to put a complain about the situation, I was told that the my complain was practically unacceptable, because they are not responsible about the communication between the guests, so, practically, anybody can come, yell to me, insult me, or whatever and the hotel will not anything, under my understanding.

I repeat that, in this particular case, as I’m foreigner, and all the situation started by that, I felt discriminated, and I also feel that this hotel is promoting the discrimination towards foreigner guests, due to the lack of professionalism of the management and security team of the hotel.
Also I feel discriminated because I’m sure that they will not treat me in the same way if it would be me, as foreigner, the one who yell and insult a Russian guest of the hotel.
Beautiful spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great quality linens, wonderful restaurant and spa.
This is our go to accommodation in Moscow. We love this place!
The hotel itself is good. Nice comfy rooms, few restaurants and bars, friendly staff. Personally I liked the sauna with its glass wall, so you can behold Moscow while warming up your bones - very cool and unusual. The only disadvantage I found : the location is a bit remote.
We had a wonderful stay. At first glance the whole area is a little forbidding. On the Moscow River, blocks of buildings, grey skies and cold. However there were a few things that makes this hotel stand out.
First the rooms are excellent. I mean really clean and beautifully maintained. We had a superior room on the 7th floor facing the river.
Second the food was excellent. I never eat in hotels usually but it was necessary in this case. Very little around from the point of view of restaurants. We tried them all (the Italian restaurant beside the hotel was closed and the Mary Jane was truly depressing, delivering a hair on the first dish which we could have done without). Apart from afternoon on the last day while waiting for a cab the food was exemplary.
The sushi on the 13th floor is ok. Expensive. Note to the management. Never advertise 5 pieces of fish and then deliver 3. Also your beer is unnecessarily overpriced. Draft Budvar is excellent but not at nearly €7 for less than a pint.
Third the Metro stops are within 15 mins walk. Not a particularly pleasant walk either but anyone familiar with Moscow know that this is normal in most areas outside the center. Tul’skaya metro is in the middle of a complex of three Malls (Trading Centers in Russia). Restaurants, shops etc. Great area. Verkhnie Kotly is the one we used regularly. Nothing there really but an easy walk and accesses the Red Line directly to the center.
Fourth there is a small and well equipped supermarket next door. Perfect for snacks and wine or beers.
Fifth if you can endure the terrible bland music on loop in the 13th floor restaurant, the views are gorgeous.
On the slight downside (coming from a family of hoteliers), the staff shouldn’t use the guest elevators. It looks amateur. Also in a 4 star hotel you must smile at the guests. It’s a simple thing but absolutely basic. The contrast with the fitness suite and spa on the 8th floor was remarkable. Incredibly interested and friendly staff. Always smiling and helpful.
It also looks bad when the staff are milling around in the lobby most of the time. Same goes for the ground floor and 13th floor restaurants. Staff simply standing around staring at guests and offering nothing.
Probably the greatest example of this is the fact that we were there for 12 days on our honeymoon and the lack of interest was remarkable, despite me telling them on the booking form and twice at the reception. Not that I expected anything but even “congratulations!” would have been nice.
There is a lot that I don’t understand about Moscow. There is a general air everywhere of unhelpfulness, in complete contrast to Ireland where I’m from. You can’t ask people on the streets or in shops or restaurants for directions or information because they simply don’t have any. Management don’t brief their staff. It took quite a lot of getting used to.
It’s certainly not as bad in the Palmira but it is worth noting that visible unhelpful staff do nothing for what is an excellent hotel. Not unfriendly just disinterested.
Another couple of things:
The ATM in the lobby charged me a €5 commission on a €40 withdrawal which is a disgrace. Terrible idea for an hotel. Getting screwed before you get to the lobby is poor judgement.
The lighting in Carpe Diem and the bar in the lobby area does not have to be at “ultra brightness” all day and night. It’s an hotel not an office building.
Final thing is breakfast. It’s excellent. In fact the whole trip was really good value for money.
In conclusion this was an excellent hotel. I’ve stayed in a few in Moscow and for sheer convenience of the metro stops, cleanliness and comfort and the little supermarket next door it gets 5 stars. The spa is cool as are the staff there. With a decent policy on how the staff interact with guests this would be the best I’ve stayed in in Moscow without a doubt. The comfort levels in all of the lobby areas and restaurant could be redesigned completely. When the green space across the river is finished this will be a fabulous location.
We will definitely be back!
We really appreciate the daily housekeeper of our Room 1303 who was nice and gracious to keep our room clean and bedding neat daily for 9 days. Further, the room service staffs who always deliver our very hot and inviting brewed coffee every morning in our room ( they were 2 gentlemen and 2 ladies, one of whom is Ms. Tatiana) . Finally of course would be the staff at the front desk who are attentive to the needs of their patrons and the driver of the hotel who patiently stand by to bring and pick us up at the Nagatinskaya Station. Thank you so much Palmira Business Hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay. All said, we will definitely write and recommend to our fellow travelers this comfortable and convenient stay and experience at the hotel back home.Again, thank you Palmira Business Club.
Not a very nice hotel. Staffs are cold and not friendly.
The concierge is useless, asked them to call a taxi to airport, they asked us to use the taxi app to call.
I wouldn’t not recommend this hotel. No next time.
Bardzo duży pokój, a właściwie dwa pokoje - jeden z kanapą i stołem z krzesłami, drugi z bardzo dużym łóżkiem. Czajnik w pokoju. 11:00 - to plus. Ogólnie hotel godny polecenia.
