Very minimal lights, difficult during the night.

Hotellet genomgick stora renoveringar trots att det stod att de skulle vara avslutade i mars månad. Hotellet var smutsigt och stökigt, inga allmänna utrymmen var tillgängliga. Den enda tillgängliga toaletten var nedskvätt med kiss.

Renoveringen fortsatte innan kl.07 i rummet bredvid vårt, byggmaterial förvarades i hallen och blockerade vid utgång. Personalen var nonchalant

The property was undergoing renovation for the entire entry level lobby area. No receptionist was present. Had to ask one of the construction people if there was a receptionist around to check me in to the hotel. After waiting ten minutes or so, someone appeared. There were electric cords and paper covering all over the floor making it difficult and not safe to move around with a suitcase. The morning breakfast that was advertised turned into pre-packaged store bought breakfast items and a coffee machine. Not satisfactory when a breakfast meal was offered on the Booking site.
Also, through my own fault with dates, I needed to change my arrival date. I sent the hotel a message and received a message saying I would have to manage any change with Booking.com. Then Booking.com said I would have to communicate with the hotel. After several emails, I never got a final response about changing my date of arrival. My daughter lives in Amsterdam not far from this property, and she went there to talk with them in person after no one would answer the phone when she tried to call.
For the price I paid and the service I received along with the complete disarray and unsafe arrival and lobby area, I would not recommend this property at this time.

Very noisy when other guest came home at night

The building site that I was greeted with on arrival - no warning along with the cat roaming freely around the hotel.
The toilet is in the room without a door to close it off which is not apparent from the marketing pictures.

Refurbished ongoing. Was next to a temporary reception and Sound proofing wasn’t great.

Unfortunately, the conditions at the property were completely unacceptable and were not disclosed to us at the time of booking. The hotel was effectively a full construction site. There was persistent loud noise throughout the day, including drilling, which made it very difficult to rest or spend any time in the room. In addition, there were construction workers present throughout the building, which significantly impacted both comfort and privacy.

It was clear that there was no breakfast due to the ongoing works, despite this being an advertised facility when we made the booking.

This situation caused significant disruption to our stay, and we did not feel that the accommodation we received reflected what was advertised or paid for.

De kamers zijn verschrikkelijk klein, net zo als de douche. Raar interieur en helaas een beetje vies.

The hotel was a building site with no communal areas at all. The reception was housed in a small bedroom. To be not told in advance is unforgivable for the cost.

Waar zal ik eens beginnen.. na aankomst bleek het hotel een grote bouwval. Overal bouwvakkers, stof, spullen, hekken, etc. Dit was van tevoren niet gecommuniceerd. We kregen de kamer op de begane grond tegenover het “rommelhok” met bouwspullen toegekend. Na twijfels toch gekozen om te blijven. De volgende dag zou er wel weer verbouwd worden, maar pas vanaf 10u ‘s ochtends. Bij het naar bed gaan bleek er zaagsel op onze kussens te liggen. Vanwege het tijdstip besloten om het er maar af te vegen en de volgende dag te melden. Om 7u ‘s ochtends zaten we rechtop in bed. Ze waren toch al begonnen. Het kabaal ging steeds harder. En dat op ZATERDAGochtend. Niet normaal. De receptie was alleen telefonisch bereikbaar, want de receptionist stond weer buiten te roken. Na onze melding was het na een half uur wel weer stil boven ons, maar was het kwaad al geschied. Slapen ging niet meer. En dat terwijl we een late check-out geboekt hadden voor 30 euro. Dan maar vroeg ontbijten. Een paar droge boterhammen, koude thee en beperkte keuze in beleg. We hadden beter een ontbijtje kunnen halen in de stad. 2 moeders met jonge gezinnen die eindelijk eens wilden uitslapen. We hadden beter thuis kunnen blijven. 300 euro betaald voor 1 nacht voor slechte service, een ontbijt dat veel te wensen overliet en een niet schone kamer. Meerdere malen het hotel benaderd en een klacht ingediend. We horen niets, worden genegeerd. Echt schandalig.

C’est dommage que l’établissement ne prévienne pas les clients qu’ils sont en pleins travaux intérieur et extérieur. Un vrai chantier. Poussière, bruit, ascenseur pas accessible.
