The hotel is lovely. The food is delicious. The pool area is amazing. I tried out the spa and it was so good. But what I loved the most was the client service. The employees went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Es un buen hotel, no hay nada parecido en muchos kms. Tiene problemas en la distancia de las habitaciones y el parqueadero. Si llueve hay que mojarse y si se tiene movilidad reducida es

Es un hotel que ha sido muy bueno en el pasado pero se ha venido desmejorando sin intervención para mejorar algunos aspectos.
Nos picaron las pulgas en estas oportunidad.
Chapas de puerta que funcionan parcialmente, cesta papelera una sola en el baño no en la habitación.
La cerveza caliente no la encrían lo suficiente, siendo un sitio caluroso, debería estar a punto de congelación.
El servicio de las señoras del restaurante algo brusco nada servicial
El teléfono no lo contestan, hay que hacer unos tres o más intentos.
El fin de semana no había personal que ayudará con las maletas.

Excelente hotel para descansar y relajarse. Lejos de todo, pero con todas las comodidades. Recomiendo el jacuzzi después de las 6 pm, es al aire libre.

Marvelous base for exploring the La Guajira re3gion of Colombia. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are clean with good air conditioning, and the staff is friendly. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the El Cerrejón coal mine and serves as a business hotel for mining executives & visitors, but is open to the public and has a tropical resort atmosphere.

One thing to keep in mind, it is almost 2 hours from Riohacha and just over 2 hours from Valledupar, the 2 closest airports. Everything around here is spread out and rather remote. If you don't have a car, arrange for transportation beforehand for everywhere you go so you don't end up stranded.

Buy drinking water and any beverages you want before you get to the hotel. They will sell you bottled water, but they warn you not to drink their tap water. Rooms have small refrigerators. You can buy staples, water, beer, etc. in the nearby hamlets of Cuestecitas or Albania.

You get a nice basic buffet style breakfast with eggs, meat (sausage or braised hot dogs), some starch options, bread, and assorted fruit. There is also breakfast cereal.

The dinner restaurant was a disappointment. Though the menu listed several types of fish, they were out of every kind of fish you would find in the nearby Caribbean, and only had Salmon, a coldwater fish foreign to Colombia. They listed goat, a local delicacy, but they had none. They did have octopus, which surprisingly was cooked correctly, and tender.

Very nice hotel/motel. Much nicer than any Australian mining accommodation! Breakfast was simple but good. Evening meals are very good. Rooms are reasonable and clean. Thanks!

This was the best time we had being in Colombia I loved this place and will come back the people were wonderful.

Endroit idéal après visite de 3 jours dans la Guajira ..les wayuus sont pauvres ... les femmes confectionnent des mochilas des sacs colorés ...achetez les directement dans le désert , elles en ont vraiment besoin..,, charfez vous en eau et brioche pour les enfants sur la route...
