the facilities were excellent and the staff exceptional. Not my first time staying and certainly not my last. I would recommend the Bishop's Gate Hotel to anyone and everyone.

Can't fault this hotel
High quality service and individual character
Friendly staff, amazing food and room. Great location
The staff (especially Stephanie and Patrick), location, amenities, decorations/ appointments, restaurant, bar and parking.
Not a thing. This establishment is the definition of 5 stars!
Everything was exceptional, staff were friendly and could not do enough for us. It was clean and tidy and the hotel is in a suburb location with only a short walking distance to the local bars and restaurants. The concierge was an absolute gentleman who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend the Bishop’s gate hotel, and cannot wait to go back.
There was nothing to dislike
Everything … warm yet an old and charming building. Staff extremely friendly … couldn’t do enough for you. Facilities excellent and food was brilliant!
Nothing!
Everything
Nothing
A beautiful Hotel, Great food, Great service, but it’s the staff that make the place special.
All was fantastic with no complaints whatsoever .
The absence of Bar Service for guests after hours and in the morning before official opening time which I believe is 12noon
It’s a beautiful building and very well set out. We had an accessible room due to my mother’s mobility and it was excellent. The thing that sets this hotel apart from many others is the wonderful staff - Stephanie and Kayci on reception were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. They looked after us so well as did Michael in the restaurant/bar. All the staff were helpful and polite and super keen to ensure you had the best stay and we did. Second time we’ve stayed there and we will be back. Thanks all xx
Possibly a bit more storage space in the room but not a deal breaker👍👍
Room was spacious. However we we not warned that the room was wheelchair accessible. We had coffee and scone on arrival which was delicious. Ladies at check-in were very friendly and helpful as the room was not handed back when we arrived. When room was available the check-in staff organised our luggage in the room
As the bathroom was wheelchair accessible- it didn’t suit our requirements, and no space and poor light for applying makeup.
No full length mirror in the room that we could see.
Friendly staff..Great food..Relaxing atmosphere...Location.
No negatives..
The decor and the location. The staff very friendly and professional. Food was exceptional and service also.
Just me, but I find hotel mattresses too firm. If one could request a softer one the. I would give 10/10.
It is a beautiful, historic hotel in the centre of Derry, with valet parking!
Fabulous food and extremely friendly staff
Loved the friendly staff and the atmosphere beautiful breakfast.
Booked a deluxe king room I was disappointed with the actual size of the room it was very cramped and small. The bathroom was a good size but had a shower over the bath the rubber along the glass door obviously has aged so when showering the glass kept falling in on me and hitting my elbow or head. To be honest I have stayed in the merchant for around the same amount of money and it was a different level of luxury..
