Our absolute go to in Derry - best staff ever!
Pros:

It’s a beautiful building and very well set out. We had an accessible room due to my mother’s mobility and it was excellent. The thing that sets this hotel apart from many others is the wonderful staff - Stephanie and Kayci on reception were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. They looked after us so well as did Michael in the restaurant/bar. All the staff were helpful and polite and super keen to ensure you had the best stay and we did. Second time we’ve stayed there and we will be back. Thanks all xx

Cons:

Possibly a bit more storage space in the room but not a deal breaker👍👍

Very easily accessed in the city and within walking distance of everything
Pros:

Room was spacious. However we we not warned that the room was wheelchair accessible. We had coffee and scone on arrival which was delicious. Ladies at check-in were very friendly and helpful as the room was not handed back when we arrived. When room was available the check-in staff organised our luggage in the room

Cons:

As the bathroom was wheelchair accessible- it didn’t suit our requirements, and no space and poor light for applying makeup.
No full length mirror in the room that we could see.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, would highly recommend.
Pros:

The decor and the location. The staff very friendly and professional. Food was exceptional and service also.

Cons:

Just me, but I find hotel mattresses too firm. If one could request a softer one the. I would give 10/10.

Pros:

Loved the friendly staff and the atmosphere beautiful breakfast.

Cons:

Booked a deluxe king room I was disappointed with the actual size of the room it was very cramped and small. The bathroom was a good size but had a shower over the bath the rubber along the glass door obviously has aged so when showering the glass kept falling in on me and hitting my elbow or head. To be honest I have stayed in the merchant for around the same amount of money and it was a different level of luxury..

The only hotel to stay in if you're visiting Derry.
Pros:

Spent new years eve in the Fabulous Bishopsgate hotel. Everything was first class from the get go, reception, valet parking and the unexpected upgrade to a junior suite! The accommodation was fantastic, a great size, still cosy and air conditioned. We had a three course dinner and the food was excellent as was the service in the restaurant and the bar. I can't really find any fault with our stay and will most definitely be going back.

Beautiful Hotel in Central location with friendly welcoming staff.staff and
Pros:

Great Central location, staff on reception friendly helpful and pleasant, hotel is clean and room had hairdryer bathrobes and kettle nice bar area and great breakfast selection of freshly cooked and continental

Cons:

The lay out of room 605 is not good as the furniture is arranged oddly.
In the bathroom the shelf for products was to close to sink and there was no space for my own products.
Air conditioning was loud and it was difficult to get to the window side of the bed if one person was using the dresser.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Pros:

Lovely building in great location. Comfortable and friendly. We had a balcony on our room, with nice views.

Cons:

A little on the expensive side, but everywhere is nowadays!! Very warm, our room was too warm and the bathroom was like a sauna. In fairness, it was a very chilly few days and the hotel is an old building so I think they were trying to make sure guests weren’t cold.

Outstanding
Pros:

I have written about this hotel a few times. A firm favourite of mine and standards are consistently high. Once again our annual Christmas Day Out as a couple landed us in this hotel for lunch and drinks. And once again the choice and quality of food, wines and cocktails was exceptional. If you have not been and like great food and drinks in lovely surroundings then this hotel is a must. They had my favourite dessert on the menu - Baked Alaska - you don’t get it in too many places. It was exceptional as was all the food ordered. A relaxing afternoon, excellent staff. I can’t wait to return.
