The Beresford Hotel

This is not hotel there's no facilities .
The hotel is very run down everything needs doing carpets are filthy and and the rooms are awful. I checked in and checked out i couldn't stay there.

Ein sehr altes, renovierungsbedürftiges Hotel, in einer tollen Lage. Die Ausstattung sehr spartanisch. Kein Zimmerservice in den vier Tagen, in denen wir dort waren. Es geb nur Ein Handtuch pro Person und kein Handtuch vor der Dusche. Insgesamt recht schmuddelig und die Fenster sehr dreckig. Man sieht, dass es mal ein tolles Hotel war, doch jetzt kümmert sich keiner mehr richtig um die vielen Mängel, die das Personal nicht bewältigen kann.

Tap didn't work in the bathroom

All was great value. Nothing to complain about.

The public areas are very poor … dirty, unkept, smelly , people smoking weed we could smell in the corridor
We stayed on the hottest night of the year and our radiator was on when we arrived … no fresh water in the room .. tea and coffee facilities but no kettle???
Such a shame could be a lovely place to stay in a prime location but it’s like there is no thought or care for the guests … they just want your money … I would avoid staying again and definitely not recommend at all

Lots of smashed windows etc. carpets really dirty. Alarm went off twice, one in the evening and once in the morning which woke me up. Felt a bit unsafe sleeping there.

Bathroom water dirty,no enough towels knowing v were stayin for 3nights,no change of bed covers,leaking bath wa0ter kept comin out of bath during shower time,no hand soap or shower gel.

No security no eating area

Building is dated and falling to pieces. Security very doubtful as front doors are broken. Stained carpets broken lamps and smelled damp.
Water from hot tap was yellow
Bed had broken castors as such was not level.
Everywhere in the building had damage to doors, locks and windows.
Curtain in room was off the rails in places.

Carpets in the room need to be replaced, not great. The room itself, bedding etc. were very clean. And for the price, very happy.

The staff, the poor state of the property, the room with no milk, a tv which didn’t work and none did in the hotel, the noise and the fighting from other “guests”. Finding that the toilet leaked when flushed, poor state of the furniture, handles missing.

Nothing was properly cleaned. The cutlery appeared to have been used, and the pillows and bed were dirty. The room also had an unpleasant smell. After I complained, they changed my room, but unfortunately the replacement room was just as bad, if not worse. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
