ENNIOS WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF EVERYTHING SOUTHAMPTON HAS TO OFFER.
Pros:

THE ROOM WAS SURPRISINGLY COMFORTABLE AND HAD ALL THE LITTLE EXTRAS SUCH AS GOOD COFFEE, NESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE, COMFORTABLE BED AND GREAT BATHROOM - OH AND THE TOWELS WERE SO FLUFFLY AND LUXURIOUS TOO! BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS, WITH OPTIONAL EXTRAS TO ADD A HEALTHY TOUCH - WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED BY THE MENU CHOICES AND THE SERVICE FROM STAFF WAS OUTSTANDING. FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND SMILEY - WHICH IS OFTEN A RAREITY THESE DAYS!

NOTHING - IT WAS ALL EXCELLENT. JUST NEED TO REMEMBER TO RESERVE CAR PARKING AS THIS IS LIMITED . BUT THE HOST WAS HELPFUL AND ENSURED WE GOT A SPACE.

Great stay and we hope to visit again.
Pros:

Lovely room tastefully modernised in a historic building. Easy to walk from here to explore Southampton. We went to the Mayflower Theatre which was an easy, safe 20 min walk. Wonderful breakfast and the evening meal was great too. The rooms to the front have views over the Ferry terminal, which we enjoyed watching.

Cons:

It is on a busy road so the road noise may be bothersome to some but we were not unduly disturbed. Rooms to the rear of the hotel will obviously be quieter

My New Go To in SOU
Pros:

Top notch throughout. Joe and Benjamin are wonderful! So kind and friendly. I was assigned the Fortuna room which overlooked the ferry terminal & river. Earplugs were provided but I did not need. Shower is great, plush towels, bed might be too soft for some, but I slept comfortably. English breakfast was amazing! did not want hash browns and was able to substitute with spinach. For a light supper, ordered the grilled octopus-yummy 😋

Fantastic hotel and restaurant. Large, comfortable rooms for a very good price. I'd stay again!
Pros:

I mailed Ennios a couple of weeks before arriving to request early access to at least one room, as we were arriving well before check-in, for my brother's wedding and would need somewhere to change. They were very accommodating and arranged everything without a hitch.
The rooms were fantastic - larger than I was expecting, extremely clean and well equipped with high quality fixtures and fittings.

Fab location and restaurant
Pros:

A great location to the port and town centre just around the corner. Car parking on site charged at £10 but could leave it until 3pm the following day. A great restaurant the food was delicious.

Cons:

Our room at the front was quite noisy due to the ferry port opposite which operates throughout the night but was still able to sleep
