Perfect spot in Fremantle South
Pros:

Perfect location, beautiful rooms, great pub-dining downstairs and awesome staff

Cons:

The shared bathroom it’s ok for a couple of nights but I will probably prefer my own ensuite if I was to stay longer.

We stay regularly at The Local...I think we need a loyalty card!!
Pros:

Location is wonderful, within walking distance of the beach...went a couple of times a day...hot weather! The Local itself is great for afternoon drinks, and many bakeries, cafes, restaurants nearby for food. Fremantle itself it not too far to walk to IGA and other offerings

Cons:

We have stayed several times...the first time in room 9. I thought it was quite hot and stuffy even though there's an overhead fan and air con. A rack to dry clothes would be handy, like after the beach!

Pros:

Location and large clean rooms were great

Cons:

One of the 2 shared toilets was out of use for 3 days, as it was post Xmas, and busy, it meant line ups. Showers were fine

Great stay and good location
Pros:

The rooms were beautiful! Nice comfy bed. Very clean. Had a fridge and also robes and slippers. Great little touches. Shared bathroom was basic but had everything you needed.
The staff were helpful and friendly. I also had a drink and lunch downstairs and the food was great.
You could hear a little bit of the noise from downstairs but it stopped early. Lots of cafes and restaurants close by. Would recommend

Pros:

We loved our room, was super comfy and organised. the bathroom was well taken care of.

Cons:

it’s an old fashioned hotel( which i liked) having a restaurant and a bar downstairs makes a little noise. but around 11 it close and it’s complete silence so it wasn’t a big deal

Cons:

hotel needs to allocate a staff member to monitor cleanliness of shared bathrooms 24/7
essential when facility offers shared bathrooms.....they must be clean and tidy 24/7. Otherwise the shared bathroom gets 2 out of 10!!!
