Pros:

Location and large clean rooms were great

Cons:

One of the 2 shared toilets was out of use for 3 days, as it was post Xmas, and busy, it meant line ups. Showers were fine

Great stay and good location
Pros:

The rooms were beautiful! Nice comfy bed. Very clean. Had a fridge and also robes and slippers. Great little touches. Shared bathroom was basic but had everything you needed.
The staff were helpful and friendly. I also had a drink and lunch downstairs and the food was great.
You could hear a little bit of the noise from downstairs but it stopped early. Lots of cafes and restaurants close by. Would recommend

Pros:

We loved our room, was super comfy and organised. the bathroom was well taken care of.

Cons:

it’s an old fashioned hotel( which i liked) having a restaurant and a bar downstairs makes a little noise. but around 11 it close and it’s complete silence so it wasn’t a big deal

Cons:

hotel needs to allocate a staff member to monitor cleanliness of shared bathrooms 24/7
essential when facility offers shared bathrooms.....they must be clean and tidy 24/7. Otherwise the shared bathroom gets 2 out of 10!!!

I really enjoyed my stay- the staff were lovely. The amenities were great. I’ll be back.
Pros:

Rooms were spacious, comfortable and well decorated- they felt homey. Bathrooms were clean. Nice touch having the coffee machine and the bathrobes. Great location!! Staff were lovely. Handy having the pub downstairs to get food when I arrived after a long day.

Cons:

Loud on the weekends but that’s to be expected at a room above a pub. I wore earplugs and still slept well.

Good location, basic accommodation and noisy
Pros:

Good location for exploring Fremantle. Huge bedroom with comfortable bed. Staff that checked us in were friendly. Nice to have bathrobes which were used to go to the bathrooms!

Cons:

There was nowhere to wash up glasses or cups, or fill up kettle or coffee machine. Although we were told there was music in the bars downstairs it was very noisy until after midnight. Shared bathrooms were a long way from the bedroom, so not good if you needed to go in the night! The bars/food areas were always busy but felt that the hotel side of the business was not important. Would have expected the bins to be emptied daily and fresh glasses and cups each day, especially as there was no means to wash up. Having a kitchenette in each room or even a shared kitchen would be a great improvement. Fabulous building but a bit tired with peeling paint etc although you could say that added to the character!

Really enjoyed our stay, room was lovely, we had room 20 (Chester) we stayed over a weekend so the bar was busy and a go
