Delightful Stay But Without An EV Charger
Pros:

Everything was great. The staff was really friendly and kind, the room was super clean, and the breakfast had a good variety of food. The location is perfect, as the neighborhood is historic and one of the nicest areas of Kastoria. Most of the main attractions were within walking distance.

Cons:

The only thing that could be considered misleading is that the hotel states that an electric vehicle charger is available. As an EV owner, I messaged the hotel before our stay to ask where the charger was located, and I was told that it was “in the streets around the hotel” and that they were not aware of the charger’s manufacturer.

When we arrived, we were told that the charger was actually located at the back of the hotel. However, when we found it, what was presented as a charger appeared to be just a cable connected to what looked like a red industrial electrical outlet. Even if we had been able to connect our car to it, we would not have felt comfortable using an installation with no clearly identifiable charger or visible safety protections. There was also no suitable space for our vehicle to park there while charging.

I would recommend removing the EV charger from the hotel’s listed amenities, or, even better, installing a proper and safe EV charging point. This would be a great addition for EV owners and would allow guests to have their vehicles fully charged and ready to explore the beautiful city of Kastoria and its surroundings.

Un Kastoria d un autre temps!
Pros:

Superbe hôtel historique au cœur de Kastoria à 5 minutes du lac!! Anna est une hôtesse remarquable conseillant sur les meilleures visites à faire dans Kastoria et sa région. De plus, elle nous a trouvé de façon rapide et efficace un garage pour réparer la roue crevée de notre véhicule. Vraiment, nous recommandons cet établissement plein de charme et d histoire !!!
