Great hotel. Highly recommended
Pros:

Siglo Hotel was a real find. It's location was perfect, on the harbour front in the centre of town. The room was really spacious and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. And the hot tub is one of the best in Iceland. What a view.

Hot bath was amazing. Avoid cocktails at all cost

Amazing location, nice rooms, cozy hotel
Personnel at the reception were amazing
The hot bath is 100/10

Cons:

• really bad smell in the corridor of the room 200
Smelt like sewage
• we had 2 different cocktails, they were impossible to drink. One was way too sweet and the other way to sour. We would actually wanted to drink more but it was really not good

Excellent relaxation!
Pros:

I didn’t go on it, it was a gift for my parents so they could get some relaxation, but my parents absolutely loved it and spoke very well of the experience!

Cozy winter storm
Pros:

It was cold rainy winter days, and the hotel was perfect to spend a cozy time in the fjorð and forget about the world. It has many corners to relax in. Just very sad the restaurant is so disappointing…

Two 'separate' businesses, two separate experiences
Pros:

The hotel itself was very clean, modern and airy. The rooms are as you will see on the website. The lounge area, spa facilities and views are great. The front desk staff are very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights and intended to use the restaurant both evenings and breakfast. We had a table booked for 8.30 and waited at the bar for a drink from 8.00p.m. I managed to get one drink and at 8.55 realized we were not going to get our table. 1 waiter on duty for both bar and restaurant duties, the manager was in the kitchen all evening. They were very understaffed for the amount of guests. A championship hand ball tournament was apparently taking place. We had to get a pizza from a bar outside of the hotel.....the breakfast was fine on day one. The evening dinner was successful, same staff, far less diners..apologetic. Breakfast day 2...9.50 not greeted/sat so entered and started to gather breakfast, others before me were waiting for scrambled eggs, but none came. I waited until 10.00 and then the chef emerges to start taking things away. I asked where the eggs were, he stated 'we close at 10.00' and walked back into the kitchen...that was disappointing..
The food and beverage manager needs to be more visible to guests, who are you managing exactly?

Exellent!
Pros:

Best hotel in Iceland! My favourite. Everything is perfect. Beautiful interior and comfort room. Good beds and mattress. Nice food in restaurant. Service is perfect. Staff very helpful and nice. Warm and welcoming.

Loved this hotel!!!
Pros:

Super nice setting. Rooms were big, clean and well appointed. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the hot tub, bar, restaurant and the breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for my birthday, and enjoyed the beautiful property and stunning views.

Cons:

Stayed at the hotel with my partner for my birthday. The hotel was just beautiful, with the most incredible views. Would highly reccomend using the thermal pool whilst staying here, the views of the boat from here are incredible.
