Thank you for making our family first stay unforgettable.
Pros:

Customer service was Awesome, from the check in, to the ride to our villa, to our room service, to the delicious breakfast especially the staff for always checking on us.

Cons:

my only take back was our AC we couldnt control or I didnt know how to work it. It was always cold. Also, would have been nice if our villa was not on the main land but it was beautiful none the less.

In terms of comfort and luxury, Lava Hotel is better, cheaper too.
Pros:

Location, beautiful gardens, stunning views from room and wonderful staff

Cons:

No control over the lighting, cant dim or isolate lights, it was either all on or all off, annoying. Replace pillows already mine were almost flat.

Pros:

We arrived at the airport in Apia and was greeted by a lovely staff from
Taumeasina resort at 6am who tirelessly waited for us despite our 8hour delay. Drove us to the resort and the service was so smooth and efficient. Our daily buffet breakfast was on point and the Sunday Tonai lunch and Fiafia night buffet was just perfect. Thank you to all kitchen staff and the Exec Chef for catering to our needs going above and beyond. A big shout out to Rajinder and Vamsi for making our stay a memorable one. We will be back Taumesina❤️

Great stay in a great location
Pros:

Taumeasina IR was great. Incredible setting with the island, beach, snorkelling etc and so close to Apia. Kids loved the pool. Only accomodation that I've stayed at in Apia (I've stayed at a few...) that has a gym. Breakfast was amazing. Other food was fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It's pretty expensive obviously. I found the 'fun' things (bingo night, karaoke) noisy; I think they detract a little from the idyllic location (others will differ, I'm sure). The fiafia night was great. Being a bigger place, there's a lot of people about.

Simply Paradise!
Pros:

This is a beautiful resort with high end accommodations and warm hospitality. The grounds are beautiful tropical and the rooms have lovely finishes and are at a luxury resort standard. It is in a great location to be able to easily get around. The property General Manager Nathan is fabulous and clearly cares about the resort and the the guest experience. They go above and beyond to look after the guests. Casper from the activities team also is amazing and will help create a great experience. I highly recommend Taumeasina Resort it is well worth staying here.

Overpriced, overhyped, and overrated
Pros:

The pool was great 👍

Cons:

We were meant to check in at 2 but checked in at 4 pm. While waiting, we decided to take the kids for a swim. My sister in law, her hubby, and daughter came to visit us, so we treated them to some lunch. We purchased 3 meals, 2 fish and chips, and 1 teriaki pork. We had lunch before with my parents, so my hubby just ordered 4 beer cans.

Before heading to our room, my husband paid for the bill at reception and checked in. The next morning, as we were having breakfast, one of the waiters came with a bill for an extra fish and chips. We told him we already paid, but he advised that he was the one who served us, but another guy took us to pay the bill at reception and left a receipt behind. We didn't pay straight away as we had somewhere to be and also wanted to check.

We added our bill that night and realised we already paid our bill in full. Fish and chips $55 x2, teriaki pork $65 x1, Vailima cans $15 x4 = $220. We paid $221 in cash.

When we checked out, we tried to explain to reception that we were being overcharged, and they added our meal up and said it added up it added up to $220, but in their system, its shows we didn't pay for the 2nd fish and chips. He went to check with his manager whose excuse was we changed tables and purchased another fish and chips when we never changed tables.

Unfortunately, we did not receive a receipt for our purchase, and reception also did not have a copy of our receipt, so we ended up paying for someone else's fish and chips. We were told they would try and sort it out and call us back with a refund, but we have now left Samoa with no outcome.

Lots of missing tiles in the pool, tiles scattered in the pool, which is a hazard. Our room was never cleaned well, my daughter spilt coffee grounds on the floor, and it wasn't cleaned up the whole 3 nights we were there.

Upmarket resort, goods for short stays with friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

Upgraded to 2-bedroom villa, having booked a double room with sea view. Villa had kitchen facilities and a washing m/c and dryer. Kettle and toaster and microwave. Had the basics with regards to toiletries, tea and coffee, etc.
Comfortable bed and pillows, good shower and towels. Staff always friendly and helpful.
Buffet breakfast with the basics included, cereals, fruit, some hot and cold, pastries, etc.
Spacious garden areas, good pools and beach, optional extra activities (free) included daily.

Cons:

Quite a way out of Apia with no free shuttle service. Taxis were the only option.
Omelette stand could do with an upgrade/refurbishment.
Starting to show signs of wear and tear in bathroom and kitchen/dining area.
