Pros:

Hotel building is aged but staff did great job keeping it clean but next blocks sewers smell awful.
A bit of language barrier but figured things out for what we needed. Great breakfast items served daily.
The thin young man with glasses at front desk was great, speaking English well and friendly absolutely adding extra comfort.
Highly recommended.

The property is very ideal for tourists looking to explore outside of Taipei. It is near the train and bus stations. The buffet breakfast is very good. Downside is whenever we go back to our room after a tiring day, the room smells like smoke or cigarrette. Not sure where it is coming from since we are in a non-smoking room.

This is an average hotel but good for a day or two. Staff is great. Breakfast is catered mostly for nonWesterners but it was good. Conveniently located near Taoyuan Train Station

Had booked to stat here for 4 nughts, ended up booking another hotel after 2. Area is not close to anything, but a 2min walk to a train station. Didnt feel welcome by people in the area, got many stares. Hotel staff is good. Booked a room with a refrigerator for my medication only to find its more of a slightly above room temperature cooler. Staff advised they can place my medication in the kitchen fridge. Room was small and smelled musky. Noticed a large black mold stain on the wall by the bed. Other than that room was clean. Realizing the location was not walkable or convenient and concerns about the black mold I booked another hotel after 2 nights.

Staff was great but property is old and dated. Room smelled musky and moldy. Bathroom walls were moldy and wall in the room had mold on it. Breakfast was good, decent choices. Location was convenient to train station but nothing to do in the area.

Very convenient. 5 minutes walk to train station and bus depot. Lots of eating and shopping options nearby. Breakfast was good. I believe we got excellent value for the price. Would definitely recommend

Pros:

Great hotel and staff. Got there early so the room wasn’t ready but everything else more or less was. Just needed my signature and a bit of information that took less than a minute and a tag was ready along with space to stow my luggage while I go for a walk and get a meal as a rush order was put through for my room to be readied.
