Delightful stay with wonderful accommodation and peaceful natural beauty all around! .
Pros:

The welcome we received from the accommodation team of Natasha & Santie was outstanding. The preparation of the Milkwood cottage where they hosted us, was beautiful! It was warm with underfloor heating turned on. The cold weather had set in and we had a gas heater, fireplace and electric blanket all ready for us. The farm is huge, with lovely walks, river nearby, wonderful birdlife. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed three delicious breakfasts, where the service was excellent. My husband enjoyed the superb wine and purchased a few bottles to take home. We were sad to say goodbye and promised to visit again.

Cons:

We felt that the evening dinner menu was overpriced. The one meal we had at Ulumbaza was disappointing. Our Cape Salmon was hopelessly overcooked, dry and we struggled to finish it. Spoilt the whole evening for us! It was the most expensive meal we've ever had to pay for!

It was a peaceful beautiful setting, with attention to detail and we look forward to visiting again

Pros:

The reception was efficiently handled and warm greetings all around. Sante(manager) was very helpful to all aspects of our introduction to the location & accomodation.

Cons:

Not being able to stay longer stay was our mistake!

Stunning Riverside Getaway
Pros:

We stayed at the newly finished River Lodge.
The room was absolutely beautiful and luxurious. Stunning Views of the river. Kayaks to use to go exploring.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink. The staff were exceptionally attentive
The complimentary breakfast was fantastic.
Lots of very small details that were perfectly thought out (eg. there was even a bird book & binoculars in the room for birdwatching)

Cons:

The rooms were a bit expensive compared to other stays in the area but you do get the luxury you pay for!

Warm hospitality in beautiful setting and superb facilities!!
Pros:

Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. A personalised experience and a warm welcome.
The rooms are well styled, everything is clean, the linen is good quality and the beds are comfortable.
Our breakfast was a restaurant experience, great value for money!

short, warm, peaceful, quiet
Pros:

we were in Stanford attending a memorial service. the wine farm was a haven of peace and quite. the lounge and dining communal area was warm, cosy, with lovely staff in quiet attendance.

Cons:

i do not like eating at a table without linen or placemats under my plates, even if the underplate is made of paper! our breakfast was plonked onto the timber surface which seems ill-mannered to me.

The perfect combination of wine, food, and accommodation
Pros:

Ohhh the wines (!), the food, and the accommodation were some of the greatest we've experienced in a long time. All three of them. We didn't expect much, as we stumbled upon the property randomly. But now we know that we're definitely coming back.
