Reservation difficulties at check in
Pros:

The room was ok but there was a problem with check in; the owner hadn't received our booking through hotels.com and we had to pay extra having failed to resolve via a v expensive long distance phone call with hotels.com. It rather marred the experience.

Lovely service from great hosts & great breakfast
Pros:

We really enjoyed our short stay here, and could have stayed for a longer time. Hosts very kind and we felt very welcome. Located next to the lake, a short walk to the city centre. Common areas really nice with relaxing atmosphere, rooms basic, great breakfast. Nothing to complain.

Clean, simple, good location & nice hosts
Pros:

We had a nice stay at Pranobaa! It's an excellent location, walking distance from the bus and train station and from the sacred tooth temple. We just stayed in Kandy for one night. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. We arrived about 9:30am and we're greeted and offered tea and breakfast which was so niceness after our early train from Colombo. The breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit and omlets. It's a short walk to Kandy town and the temple. Our host also arranged a driver to take us to see a few other sights in the local area. The room was clean and simple, just what we needed for our short stay. If I came back to Kandy, I would stay here again. There is also a nice view of the lake from the breakfast tables. Thank you!
