Отдыхали всей семьёй в марте 2020г. Сначала отправились во Владимир, ближе к вечеру приехали в Суздаль и сразу заселились в гостевой дом. Очень удобное расположение. В шаговой оступности и Кремль(можно дойти через пешеходный мостик), и музей Деревянного зодчества. Порадовала необыкновенно уютная обстановка "Светлого теорема". Всё очень по-домашнему. Всё что заявлено в номере, всё соответствует действительности: и принадлежности для чая/кофе, и средства личной гигиены в индивидуальных упаковках, и халаты, и тапочки, и три вида полотенец. Отличные матрасы и постельное белье. Также большое спасибо персоналу за быстрое заселение. Отдельное спасибо за завтрак. Всё очень вкусно (сырники, блины, каша в горшочке). Просто, Молодцы! На цокольном этаже есть сауна с зоной отдыха, джакузи. Надеемся ещё не раз вернуться сюда. Процветания "Светлому теорему"! Большое спасибо!

Уютный и чистый отель, удобное недалекое расположение от основных достопримечательностей города. Рядом расположены и рестораны с кафе. Персонал очень приветлив, особенно «хозяйка»-Баня (поймёте, если посетите)!

Very quaint hotel. We took a larger room and thought it was worth the expense. The toilet was very cramped, and we would have preferred a bigger toilet with less room space.
The location was a bit far away from the city centre, but it did mean the room was quiet. However, one can hear neighbours, and the insulation is not great. Fortunately, people were generally considerate, and we slept well. Breakfast was so-so. Overall, for a one night stay, it was acceptable.

The staff was very friendly. My room was very clean and cosy.

Отель понравился - в номере чисто, приветливый персонал, отличный вкусный завтрак (шведский стол). Очень хорошее местоположение отеля - рядом музей деревянного зодчества и кремль. Советую посетить баню - находится в пару минут ходьбы от отеля, внутри чисто, есть зона для отдыха, топится дровами, дают иван-чай с вареньем.
Из того, что можно было бы улучшить - привести в порядок велосипеды. Воспользоваться прокатом нам не удалось, так как были спущены колеса, насоса не было, да и в целом, состояние велосипедов не очень. Либо нужно предупреждать заранее, что вы хотите взять велосипеды, тогда их подготовят, но мне кажется это не очень удобно.

Nice and comfortable bed and breakfast hotel, nice staff

Staff was great. Breakfast was tasty.

This hotel is centrally located at great price. Rooms and amenities are simply amazing.

Suggestion - put up some glow signs for people to identify ( in English too)

A little bit far away from downtown area. The staff may be afraid to speak English. Need to prepare your shampoo, toothbrush...and so on.

The wooden cottage is nice, the room is comfortable,and breakfast is tasty.It takes about 3 minutes walk to get to the river bank for the best sunset in a good weather.
Hotels.com says that this hotel provides bilingual staff,but it is wrong.I was caught in a heavy rain on the way to get to the hotel,and got soakingly wet.I called the hotel to arrange a driver to pick us at the Trading Arcades for extra pay.But the answer from the receiptionist was that she couldn't understand English.We waited and waited ,and walked to the hotel when it stopped raining.
After checking-in,we asked the receiptionist whether it is OK to borrow an umbrella just in case.But she told me that we have to buy it instead of borrowing.No service at all.This let us down again.
Although the receiptionist is very beautiful,her English is very poor,even she couldn't explain the direction or breakfast time clearly.In other words,it is so hard for non Russian-speaking lodgers to get any useful information here.

Had nice comfortable stay. Room was clean and functional and walkable to center of town.

From the very beginning of our stay, till the very end, the entire staff and accommodations were excellent.
Also the free breakfast was great! Spacibo

Good location, nice family run business, a bit pricey, nice breakfast.

Had a bit of a problem upon check-in. Receptionist asked where my immigration card was in my passport. It had been there the last time I looked. I had no idea what might have happened to it. She then said it wasn't a problem. As soon as I got to our room, I searched everywhere for it, but I didn't have it. I then began worrying about how we'd get back to the city, having to purchase a train ticket, etc. My husband said we might have to hire a car and driver. Expensive! However, the following morning, they handed me my passport (which I hadn't even realized they had kept, as I thought they returned it with my husband's), and in it was my immigration paper. What? Where was it? It was there all along! Or else, she had dropped it on the floor and then found it. It would have been nice if she had called our room, or brought it up to our room, as it caused me an entire night of concern, for no reason whatsoever.

I doubt we'd ever stay there again. It's not directly in the center of town, and we changed hotels and spent two more nights at the Veily Hotel right in the center, which we much preferred.

Very friendly and nice staff!!!!! Clean rooms!!! Food is amazing prepared by local cook!!! Our stay was great and we are highly recommend this hotel!!!

Stayed at Svetlyi Terem in Sep 2016.
Micro Hotel is 10 min walk ( down towards the river on Tolstoy st.) by foot to Kremlin and Wooden Architecture museum. (Very convenient, not noisy)
Rooms are clean and neat. Hotel building is made from wood, from basement up. Rooms inside have exposed wooden tree trunks-ancient Russian architectural experience.
Staff is extremely helpful with rooms service/ city directions/ advices/ reccomendations, tour guide schedules, etc- just have to ask.
Breakfast and Dinners are simple, quality Russian cuisine. Overall Excellent value / price ratio. They also have a "quality" Russian traditional Banya ( Bath House) in the back of the property. Will definitely return.

Svetily Terem has a lovely rustic cottage feel. Our room was spectacular, spacious & clean with a fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was bountiful & delicious. The location was very near to the Kremlin & the wooden architecture museum. Very walkable into the center of town. The staff were kind and gracious to not charge us for a key that our daughter misplaced. Highly recommend, wish we could have stayed longer!

More a cozy hotel than a guest house, this property was ideally situated and offered great value.
