I had a pleasant stay in Kandy city. The lady manager was very supportive and friendly. She explained everything kindly and always spoke very happily. She introduced the hotel and the places in Kandy city very well. I felt very comfortable because the staff were always polite and welcoming.

Personál a hlavně pán, který nás ubytoval byl neskutečně milý a vstřícný. Mohli jsme mít jakýkoli dotaz a prosbu a on nám vše zařídil. nemuseli jsme se o nic starat a jenom jsme si užívali nádherné výhledy z pokoje. Snídaně byla opravdu výborná a dělaná před vašima očima. Děkujeme vám mockrát za tuto příležitost. Určitě bychom se sem někdy rádi vrátili.

It’s the kind of place where you constantly think, “This is incredible for what I’m paying.” Every dollar spent truly feels worth it, making this an excellent choice for budget-conscious travellers who don’t want to compromise on comfort.

The rooms are very clean, well maintained, and comfortable, which immediately adds value — no compromises on hygiene or comfort. On top of that, the rooftop restaurant offers a delicious breakfast with breathtaking views over Kandy, something you’d normally expect to pay extra for elsewhere. Here, it feels like a bonus that comes naturally with your stay.

The staff and service add even more value. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which makes the experience feel personal rather than transactional. That level of care and attention is rare and absolutely priceless when you’re travelling.

A special mention must go to the owner, Mr. Kanchana. His guidance, kindness, and constant support throughout our stay elevated the entire experience. Having an owner so personally involved adds enormous value — it’s not just accommodation, it’s true hospitality.

The CanBuy Gem Museum is another unique highlight and adds even more depth to the stay. Experiences like this make Kandy View Hotel feel like more than just a place to sleep, It’s a unique cultural experience that makes your stay feel richer and more meaningful.
