Friendly,divine vieuw over the city.

I absolutely loved my stay here. Apart from the views from my room and the efficiency of the organisation, what I most loved what how friendly, attentive and down-to-earth the staff were, especially the owner, whose name I sadly didn’t get (Denise?!). I generally don’t give reviews for this kind of thing, but I’m making an exception here because it was such a positive experience.

Οι ιδιοκτήτες του ξενοδοχείου είναι ιδιαίτερα πρόθυμοι και εξυπηρετικοί. Καθαριότητα πολύ καλή. Καλή περιποίηση και στο πρωινό.
Ευχάριστη διαμονή σε φιλικό περιβάλλον.

V welcoming staff and homely small hotel with stunning views & pleasant pool.

Ett familjeägt hotell med hög servicenivå och varmt bemötande, vi blev både hämtade och lämnade med bil i hamnen, sonen tipsade om bl a de bästa stränderna och restaurangerna.
Restaurangen alldeles intill serverar grymt god mat (grillstad vid ingången), men ägaren är en surgubbe, vi åt där 2 av 5 kvällar, men inte för hans skull..Supergott!
Från hotellet är det endast ca 10 min promenad genom de mysiga gränderna ner till hamnen, dock lite ”tungt” att gå hem, men bra för kroppen med lite motion efter all god mat och dryck..

posizione meravigliosa con vista bellissima e balconcino molto bello e ventilato. la sig. Maria e veramente gentile e simpatica.purtoppo il bagno non va, andrebbe sistemato, e alle 19 l'acqua calda scarseggia.... bisognerebbe sistemare i bagni per aver un hotel da 10 e lode. ottima colazione.

Veldig koslig vertskap..., servise innstilt og hjelpsomme...

We were collected from the port by Marie who was so lovely for the duration of our stay. Requested sea view and wow we're not disappointed , stunning view of Skopelos Town and harbour. Room clean and comfortable, able to make a hot drink sitting on balcony before a free breakfast. Excellent value for money. Some people comment on location and yes if you have mobility issues then as its at the top of the town may be hard to walk back as steep and involves steps depending on your route. We always hire a car and able to park close to hotel. Enjoyed walk back up hill, burning off all the calories from the delicious Greek food. Must go to Olivo restaurant, been many times over my 6 times to Skopelos.

Très bon séjour. Seul bémol la douche, pas très pratique.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel Denise sehr genossen und werden ganz bestimmt dort wieder buchen, wenn wir auf der Insel sind.

We booked one night at the hotel as we are staying on Skiathos and just came over to explore the island. Within a minute of meeting Maria, the fantastic host and seeing our room overlooking the bay, we immediately asked Maria if we could book a second night. She sorted us the same room for a good price. The hotel, staff and breakfast were all superb and I would certainly recommend a stay here.

We stayed here as a gift for my husband 60th birthday and it was perfect totally amazing. The room was clean and perfect with lovely staff who truly made our stay. The views off the balcony was our of this world we want to go back already.

Denise Hotel was amazing - it was like staying with family. Maria was so warm and welcoming. The location was perfect - excellent views but a short walk to the waterfront.

L'hotel è gradevole e poco fuori dal centro (in una zona molto silenziosa). Le camere sono spaziose, confortevoli e pulite e tutte dotate di bei balconi panoramici; la proprietaria è simpaticissima e prodiga di informazioni (parla tra l'altro un ottimo italiano). Bisogna solo sapere che, se non si dispone di un mezzo proprio, c'è da affrontare una discreta salita per raggiungerlo. Sia all'arrivo che alla partenza però si sono offerti subito di trasportarci. Sicuramente consigliabile.

En plus de la piscine, de la vue, et de la chambre très claire et spacieuse avec terrasse, le plus gros point fort de cet hôtel et son accueil ! Merci à Mary pour sa bonne humeur, et à George pour ses conseils sur les transports et les restaurants.
Faire juste attention car ça grimpe quand on rentre du port, et GPS indispensable car les ruelles (avec escaliers souvent) sont un labyrinthe !
J'ai encore le refrain de Mamma Mia dans la tête !

What you see is NOT what you will get! We booked this hotel (6 months in advance, non-smoking room) for the nice views of the village, port and water from the balconies, as presented in the photos on hotels.com. We got a room in the basement (below the lobby which is at street level), down the cliff in the back of the hotel. Highly obstructed view of the water (no village and port views), smelly room (basement smell and it was a smoking room); patio door basically on the path going to the pool. The owner told us that the hotel was fully booked and she could not provide us with a room as posted on hotels.com (but we heard her offering a room to a walk-in customer when we passed through the lobby later in the day). Only one iPad could connect to the wifi, intermittently. Water diluted orange juice and untasteful coffee from a stainless steel tank for breakfast. An extra small shower with a disgusting curtain that sticks to your skin. The first day, the maid left the patio door open, thus leaving our room open to the pool traffic passing in front of our room. Unfriendly hosting. We definitely will NOT return.

Everything was great, hotel is very nice, placed on the top of the hill with breathtaking view to the harbor and city. It will take you 5 min to come down and a little more, around 10 to come up but it is worth it. Pool area is also nice, and not crowded, so it makes a good option if it's windy or you just don't feel like going to the beach.The best of all is hospitality you get here, I don't think we ever felt so welcomed thanks to Maria and her family. We would definitely come back to Denise.

Hotel Denise was very clean and comfortable. 5 minutes walk down to port 10 minutes back up. Amazing views from the double sea view rooms. We had room 402 which had views down to port and out to countryside.
