Pros:

Stayed here while working away. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Comfy and spacious rooms. They even prepared breakfast an hour early for us as we were leaving early each morning. In a good location in the middle of the city.

Very comfortable, enjoyable & great location- we will use this accomodation again.
Pros:

Great location, also nice to have just one price to pay for the room with 3 staying over. Also, nice to have a bar & outdoor sitting area.

Cons:

No car park, but not a problem with a car park near by for overnight parking, at a reasonable price.

Modern rooms great city centre location
Pros:

Clean modern rooms. Good value. Windows can be opened for fresh air. Very warm in the room. All the team are very friendly.

Brilliant property and staff
Pros:

What a gem of a property! We booked 3 rooms in total including the Party Pad which was incredible. We also had 2 dogs and nothing was too much trouble, there was a dog bed and water bowl waiting for them. All the staff were brilliant including the night manager, and a big shout out to the lady at breakfast…she was so attentive. We will definitely stay again should we find ourselves in Chester.

Very comfortable and great for an over night stay. Bathroom small but very stylish
Pros:

Location was excellent. Staff on front desk very helpful and informative

Cons:

The ventilation was not very good as unable to open a window so room was very stuffy. I think staying in the summer months may be too hot

Pleasant and good for centre of Chester
Pros:

Lovely and clean, comfortable bed, no noise from the busy street

Cons:

Please please put soft closers on the room doors. We were woken twice by the slamming of room doors. We understand that they are fire doors and need to close firmly, but the slamming shut is very disturbing.
We could also hear people talking in the next room to us, so acoustic boarding would stop this.

The staff and breakfast were excellent. The hotel was quiet which we appreciated .
Pros:

We liked the proximity to the town, the river and good restarants. Good breakfast.

Cons:

The stairs were very steep and there was no lift. Our rooom was changed to the second floor when the receptionist noticed our advanced years. That still left us several flights.

The water in the shower was scaldingly hot so we could not use it.

The bathroom arrangement was strange -with the lavatory pan protruding out from below the hand basin o we could not reach the basin easily. It was a tiny space hence the odd arrangement.

We had a nice stay, good location, good breakfast and friendly staff

The breakfast was very good, a good selection of pastries and fruit, and a good choice of hot food.
Location was within easy walking of Chester town center

Cons:

Bathroom was a little on the small side
