Best vacation EVER
Pros:

Our room was so clean and comfortable....the mattress was AMAZING! Kristine the inn keeper was so sweet and welcoming. It was quite honestly the best vacation we've had. Location was on point between the ferry and Ellison Bay. People were amongst the most hospitable. 11/10 🌟

Cons:

There was not anything worth a dislike....everything was fantastic!

Gem in the north.
Pros:

Location was perfect to visit the very tip of door county. Easy to catch ferry to Washington Island or visit Newport State Park for the dark skies. The small fishing village was a great area to slow down and get some distance from the chaos of the trendy nearby towns. Great smoked fish shop and cider tasting near by. The facility had lots to offer, sauna, fire pit, gazebo area for sitting or grilling. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We stayed in Country view suites, the bed was extremely soft. Could have used more creamer in the room (Only four provided for two for two nights). The towels were small and thin.

We had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed every moment here. The lake view room was stunning, and the sunset by the lake was absolutely breathtaking — easily one of the highlights of our trip.

A very special thank you to Kristine for her warm hospitality and thoughtful care throughout our stay. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive to all of our needs, and made us feel comfortable right away. She also knows the area very well and gave us wonderful local recommendations that really helped us enjoy Door County even more.

We especially appreciated having a kitchen to cook our own meals, which made the stay feel relaxing and convenient for our family. The location was also excellent — only about 10–15 minutes from the main attractions and very close to the ferry for Washington Island, making day trips super easy.

My parents were especially happy during this stay, and the peaceful lake atmosphere made the whole experience feel cozy, memorable, and special. Highly recommend!

Old buildings in need of updates. Inside the room was large and decent. Sheets didn’t stay on bed.
