The 5 stars are misleading – definitely not a 5-star experience
Pros:

The hotel is nice, clean and well maintained. The reception staff were very kind, friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Cons:

Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience yesterday afternoon. I had clearly placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door because I was sleeping, yet a member of the housekeeping staff entered my room anyway and woke me up because they wanted to clean the room.

I find this unacceptable. The purpose of the “Do Not Disturb” sign is to ensure that guests are not disturbed and that their privacy is respected. Entering the room despite the sign, especially while the guest is sleeping, is a serious lack of consideration and professionalism.

Apart from this incident, I had a good impression of the hotel, but unfortunately this experience affected my overall stay.

Cumple con las expectativas
Pros:

Cumplieron con la petición de poner las habitaciones juntas, aunque el check in fue un poco caótico! El hotel es bonito, luce antiguo pero es parte del encanto. las habitaciones eran amplias, el desayuno esta bien-normal. Tiene lo básico. Todo el personal fue amable y servicial.

El baño podía estar algo más limpio y con más papel higiénico.

Great place full of charm
Pros:

Incredible place. The money for value is pretty amazing, staff is very friendly and welcoming, the food was so so good - both the dinner and the breakfast, it had all the possible food cooked at its perfection. The rooms are big and comfortable, the place has such a beautiful charm. The pool is lovely. Everything and everyone was truly exceptional.

Beautiful, historic hotel
Pros:

Beautiful building, grounds and pool, very comfortable bed in large, well-appointed, air conditioned room. All the staff were excellent.

Cons:

I booked half board but the first night was a buffet selection, which was not good at all - happily, the second night's table d'hôte was excellent. Better coffee at breakfast and other times would be appreciated.
