City centre location ok, situated at the lake. Take care crossing the road. Overall the hotel is somewhat tired. Reasonable room size, poorly maintained. Shower can flood the bathroom. Water temperature impossible to adjust. Staff friendly, but not as good as Jetwing. Tirone in the restaurant was a standout, he should be doing the staff training. Food selection adequate, again no attention to when a selection has run out. Noise was not an issue with a room facimg the courtyard.

The food was very good, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. A special thank you to Kathir for his exceptional hospitality and kindness. He made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended!

I liked the hotel, the staff, the food varieties, they also went out of their way to help me retrieve my item that I left at the hotel - special thanks to Rema.

Schönes Hotel im Kolonialstil direkt am Kandy Lake. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und herzlich, das Frühstück lecker.

Teils sind die Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen und das unserer Kinder war etwas dunkel. Insgesamt ist aber alles gepflegt, angenehm und sauber. Der Pool war toll nach unseren Ausflügen in die Stadt und ins kulturelle Dreieck. .

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent from the moment I arrived. The location was perfect, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay.

The restaurant was outstanding, with delicious food and excellent service. The breakfast was one of the highlights, offering a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to suit every taste.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting kandy and would be happy to stay here again.

We experienced warm hospitality despite the heritage building showing its age.The room was a good size equipped with frig, TV, tea/coffee making facility and excellent lighting.Both the buffet breakfast and the pool were excellent.

We stayed two nights at Hotel Suisse in Kandy with our family (three children) and we had a wonderful time. On arrival we were upgraded to the "Mountbatten Suite", an enormous room with a beautiful view over the lake and the pool.
The hotel is built in a gorgeous old colonial style, and the hallways are wide and high. There are lovely spaces where you can sit and relax, and the breakfast is fantastic. Both the children and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
A special mention goes to the staff members Ayesh, Shan and Dulanjali for their tremendous hospitality. When we return to Kandy, we will 100% come back to Hotel Suisse!

Very nice hotel, excellent service and food. A special mention to Tiara who organized a special present for us knowing it was our honeymoon. By far the best hotel we have seen in our stay in Sri Lanka.
