Very solid space. Clean and comfortable. Host was nice and met us at the front door.
Unrelated, Taiwan has random steps in side a living space. This room is no exception. My senior aged mother misses this step (in most Taiwanese motels/hotels) -- whether in the living room or bathroom.
Overall, pretty good space. I actually stayed in a similar area in Hualien with paid parking across the street. The value is here compared to most other hotels/motels. This is a 4-star and recommend to any traveler looking for a very good quality space.
The owner was super nice! She even drove us to the train station since we had heavy backpacks and luggages. Her English was amazing so it was easy to communicate. This made everything way easier.
We spent 17 nights in the little apartment and enjoyed it very much.
The room was very clean and (this is important to me) had big windows, so you could see the town and the sun.
It was very quiet, even tho restaurants are close by.
The beds were very comfy.

Room was really clean and the shower was amazing in terms of pressure and heat. Could store luggage before check in was ready and host was responsive.
TV could have been a smart TV to watch Netflix but we just watched the English channels.
