Please note that there is a 24-hour front desk and check-in is possible from 15:00. It is not needed to inform Zoku of your estimated arrival time.

Due to the purpose of clean rooms, Zoku Amsterdam can not provide an early check-in. Guests who arrive before 15:00 can leave their luggage in the luggage room on-site.

I loved the hotel! Very smart design, cosy, comfortable, especially the top floor working space and the reception. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are like small apartments: comfortable beds on the 1,5 floor, small kitchens with everything you need, incl. coffee, tea and everything. Just across the street there is a SPAR grocery store, so you can comfortably get all you need. The location could not be better, just 10 min walk, and you are in the very center (China Town), Rembrandt's house - 5 min. The hotel is easy to reach by car. I truly recommend it to tourists and working travelers.

€843 billing mistake took a bank dispute and a week of stress to fix
Pros:

Please be careful with your credit card details here. My family and I stayed at Zoku Amsterdam, and while we enjoyed the stay itself, an additional €843.11 was charged to my credit card despite our stay being fully prepaid through booking.com.

While I accept that mistakes happen and I don't believe this was done maliciously, Zoku Amsterdam’s refusal to take the issue seriously was very stressful. €843 is a lot of money to me! I provided my bank statements and full transaction details right away, only to be sent several standard copy-paste replies that completely dismissed my documentation including an email claiming that the €843 deduction was just a €1 hold.

It took my bank initiating a formal chargeback dispute for them to finally acknowledge that they had mistakenly charged my credit card and issue a refund.

Please check your bank statements carefully after staying here!

Hotel położony w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji, z łatwym dojazdem i świetnie zorganizowanym parkingiem. Dużym atutem jest lobby na najwyższym piętrze z pięknym widokiem – bardzo klimatyczne i wygodne miejsce do odpoczynku. Pokój nowocześnie urządzony, dobrze wyposażony i zaprojektowany z doskonałym wykorzystaniem dostępnej przestrzeni. Personel był bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny, a śniadanie zasługuje na najwyższą ocenę – jedno z najlepiej zorganizowanych i najsmaczniejszych, z jakich mieliśmy okazję korzystać.

Cons:

Jedynym minusem była klimatyzacja, której nie dało się wyłączyć. Przez całą noc nawiewała zimne powietrze, przez co było nam zbyt chłodno. Niestety, mimo kilku próśb, nie udało się uzyskać skutecznej pomocy ze strony obsługi w rozwiązaniu tego problemu.

Pros:

Location was perfect, with the metro and trams being a short walk from the hotel we were able to explore with ease. The room had plenty of storage and living space which was really appreciated. We’ve stayed in Amsterdam before and the loft layout really was the best we’ve experienced yet.

Cons:

The only thing we didn’t like was what looked to be makeup stains on the bed sheets. We didn’t notice this until after our first night due to the location of the stains.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir sind mit dem Nachtzug angereist - das Hotel bietet eine Möglichkeit um das Gepäck in einem Schliessfach aufzubewahren und zu duschen. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Zimmer haben uns sehr gefallen. Das Nachtessen war ebenfalls sehr gut.

Da müssten wir auf die Suche gehen :-).
