Das Essen hat auf keinem Fall unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Die Frische der Lebensmittel war grenzwertig. Wir haben deswegen unseren Aufenthalt früher abgebrochen.

Perfect stay for ski in Schladming
Pros:

Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the team was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The facilities are well maintained and comfortable. The location is unbeatable—right in front of the slopes and just a short walk from the ski school. A perfect base for skiing in Schladming, and we’d happily return to Hotel Pariente.

Cons:

What I didn’t love at Hotel Pariente was that at lunch we were served by a staff member who didn’t speak English at all. It didn’t really bother me that much, but I feel I would have ordered a lot more from the restaurant if the waiter had been able to communicate better in English. Even so, everything was excellent overall.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay thanks to the unbeatable location, the beautiful views, and the excellent skiing are
Pros:

The location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is right next to the Ski School and directly on a blue slope, which makes it perfect for beginners or families with children who are just starting to ski. It’s incredibly convenient for practicing on the blue run with drag lifts without needing to commute anywhere.

The room was very nice, with breathtaking mountain views from the window — truly unreal. Housekeeping was good, the bathroom was very clean, and everything felt well maintained (no mold or any unpleasant details).

Overall, the skiing area itself is amazing — beautiful mountains and a great ski zone.

Cons:

The limited English spoken by the staff. Only one receptionist and one bartender spoke English fluently. One waiter spoke English as well, but he was there only for two days during our seven-day stay. Most of the time, we were served by a waiter who did not speak English at all, not even basic words. When we addressed him in English, he would simply continue speaking German. Communication was quite difficult, and at times the interaction felt slightly uncomfortable.

It may be that the hotel mainly focuses on local guests, which is completely fine, but international visitors should be aware that English communication can be limited.

Pros:

Familiäre, äußerst gastfreundliche Atmosphäre. Außergewöhnliche gute Küche. Topmoderne Zimmer in bester Lage an der Piste. Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar. Nächstes Jahr wieder!

Close to the slope - ski in&out. Clean and big room, quite area, good breakfast! Every task or question we had, the staff were trying to solve positively and gladly.

Brusekabinen var alt for lille. For lidt gardarobeplads til 2 personers tøj og skitøj. Morgenmadsbuffetten var fysisk presset.

Pros:

This is a really good hotel with really good location, really good meals and cosy, modern and spacious rooms. Everything in Pariente is carefully planed. Would like to spend another winter holiday there.
