Pros:

This property is nice, the staff was excellent and the breakfast yummy. The reason for my low rating was the room we had was terrible. Do not accept room number 25. It’s a double twin. It is the size of a dorm room with an accessible bathroom- we did not request an accessible room. It needs to painted, it needs new carpet and the carpet isn’t properly placed. The beds are a bit lumpy and the pillows are flat. We were only staying one night so we didn’t request a change in room but I would not stay in that room again.

Pros:

Checkin was smooth and the hotel was nice and clean although it was dated. There was no elevator in the hotel! Guests have to carry their own luggage up and down the stairs. Or you can take what you need to your room and leave your luggage at the front desk to be stored.

I stayed one night pre-cruise, and I couldn't hsve asked for a better experience. In the months proor to ny arrival, they answered my questions and accomodated my requests. They reached out ahead of time to schedule dinner reservations too. Upon arrival the staff was super friendly and helpful. They took care of everything, breakfast was scheduled, a taxi was scheduled, and the room was on the ground floor as requested, I loved jt and will stay there again if I am ever back in Southampton.

Great location. Easy access to bus service right outside hotel. Staff were excellent. Restaurant was ok, but lots of options in the area.

Bed was extremely noisy and shower was not great and leaked onto the floor carpet was stained

Pros:

Great location before our cruise. Room was smaller than expected for a king. Claw foot bathtub and no shower curtain. Challenging to take a shower, so had to just kneel in the tub. The hotel was cute, but more like being in someone’s house in a bedroom.

Pros:

Nice place, but no lifts. For older people, it can be very difficult to carry luggage upstairs. They will store it for you if you don’t really have to have it during your stay. Tubs are a little difficult for those with mobility issues. Otherwise, a nice place.

Pros:

A lovely old hotel, friendly staff and restaurant on site
Main drawback is stairs with heavy luggage. We were offered to have the bags stored downstairs, but we would have to rummage through and take out what was needed.

Narrow stairways without railings. Difficult doorways. Definitely not a hotel for anyone with any mobility issues. Staff friendliness and helpfulness inconsistent.
