Overall the stay complements our week-end
Pros:

We go to truck racing at Brands Hatch every year at Easter. We use Inn on The Lake every year. It is close enough without having to pay a fortune as we would have done closer to the venue and access is easy from the main road. We make the week-end a long week-end so the location is ideal for other things we plan whilst in the vicinity.
The staff were excellent as they always are, some have been around for a few years now.
The rooms etc have not changed much over the years but are maybe becoming a little tired in appearance.
Overall there was nothing that would stop us visiting again next year.

Cons:

Decore is getting a little tired.

Having paid the money we paid for the week including upgrading to the ‘lake view’ I was disappointed
Pros:

Reception staff were friendly and courteous.
Staff at the bar were very pleasant.
The morning tea and coffee facilities were great.
Your coffee was lovely 👌
The fruit salad was delicious.
The evening meal was overall good from us all.
Location was good for a weeks holiday (travelling from M/cr) which included a family wedding day.
Bathroom soap dispensers and loo roll was frequently topped up.

Cons:

The English breakfast plate was brought out on a plate the size of a side plate with just 1 sausage, 1 bacon, 1 egg. Out of 7 mornings I unfortunately had only one runny egg (fried and poached).
The manual juice machine was very poor with either weak as water or double strong orange.
Bread for the toaster was frozen on occasions.
Some breakfast staff showed poor communication skills and a lack of friendly faces which is to be expected from front of house employees.
Happy, friendly staff mean a lot to me and breakfast staff should be the introduction to a fine first hour or so of someone’s holiday.
One of our younger members dropped a piece of cutlery one morning - the next morning we sat at the same table and the knife was still on the floor!
One or two pieces of cutlery set out over the week were still dirty.
We paid extra for a lakeside view, but annoyingly couldn’t walk around the lake!
Strong smell of cigarettes along the corridor of the ground floor.
A couple of days towels were changed but forgot hand towel and shower floor towel.
Walls and ceilings thin so could here every door shut, foot-step and annoying shower drips from the bath room above. (Room 137 - please listen for yourself at around 5:30/6am!)

Great place to stay when visiting Brands Hatch..
Pros:

The staff, location, stunning lake views, close to Brands Hatch.
We had a slight issue with our room, the staff dealt with it brilliantly and moved us to another one. 5 star staff.

Cons:

The orange juice from the machine at breakfast was warm, didnt taste right, I mentioned it to the male waiter, asking if there was any chilled? He suggested i pour cold water into it to chill it, I couldnt believe that was his solution.
Please fix the machine, so it chills everthing, to prevent this happening to anyone else.

Great service and great value
Pros:

Location was very good. Staff were lovely, polite and helpful.
Room was fine. Plenty of storage which you don't get in the modern wooden box hotels.
Great breakfast too. Loved the coffee.

Cons:

Nothing that I can think of.
