Pleasant and enjoyable. Staff always nice
Pros:

Not much to dislike for the price. We had a lakeside room which we have stayed in before and it’s lovely sitting outside beside the lake

Cons:

We have stayed there a lot over the last 4/5 years. The whole place is looking very tired now and desperately in need of a freshen up or refurb. Bed was really uncomfortable in this room

Rude staff. Room was unclean. The bed sheets were dirty. Pillows and duvet didn’t even have covers. Not even had covers. Not enough towels. When we asked for replacement bedding we were told No. We ask for more towels. But again told No because the were two people in the room. Even though we had booked for two guests. We said we would then rather leave a night early. Due to the rude manner in the way we were treated. The manager said it would be a good idea if we did but refused to give a refund for the second night and said we would have to take it up with booking. Com
I made this a complaint to booking.com. But they say they haven’t received my complaint.
I will never use booking.com again or the Inn on the lake

It was a lovely room and lovely staff. Took me back to my youth.
Pros:

Polite Staff, Warm Room, Easy Location, Excellent take away breakfast upon request. I am a very happy man and the service was first class.

Cons:

No Complaints. The TV was small but I don't watch TV so did not bother me.
