Pros:

The lake

Cons:

It was very old and the rooms were stuffy. Then there was a particularly saucy lady at the restaurant who never damned consequences of reviews and told me off after not giving a good customer service and I told her I was going to give a bad review on here.

The breakfast was not serve yourself, you have to order for portions and it took forever before they arrived.

There no natural fruits on display and the provided fruit juices were tanned out with water so we were just drinking water diluted with a few drops of juice.

It was not a pleasant experience and I regretted spending two nights here

Cons:

So dated it is like walking into the 1970s.
Lake is nice but access around the lake is blocked off by fences sadly. There is a country park within walking distance.

We stayed at the hotel so we could spend the time with our daughter and family.

If you are a dog owner and love to be around lots of dogs then this hotel will tick that box.
Pros:

On the plus side the view is stunning and worth the stay on it's own.
Friendly staff.

Cons:

The hotel is far too dog friendly. Dogs are encouraged to be walked outside the bedrooms in front of the lake and use it as a toilet! There's even a poo bin provided giving the green light. We saw a lot of dogs. Even when the owners clear up residue is left and we were put off walking or sitting by the lake. If you had children you wouldn't be able to let them run about.
Our room looking out on the lake was lovely except the shower bracket was broken and the extractor fan didn't work.
The breakfast was a disappointment. The filter coffee was boiling away and was quite frankly terrible.
No oat milk on offer and the only dairy milk was not marked whole milk or semi skimmed! You had to pick a breakfast from a set menu and swapping items was not allowed, we've never been told that before any where else.
