So much potential but lack of maintenance/investment
Pros:

Historic building in a great location with nice courtyard and pool to chill in when hot, staff are friendly and check-in/out very simple, the room itself was interesting set over two floors with an upstairs mezzanine floor bedroom and lower snug and bathroom leading out to a spacious patio

Cons:

The bathroom was a major let down in our room, the shower didn't fix to the wall so just had to hold it and wash, the jets in the bath were mouldy and dirty, the toilet would occasionally emit a sewage-y smell too, TV's in the room didn't work, general cleanliness of the room, quality of the towels, etc. etc. overall poor, could just tell that maintenance and investment in keeping the property to its best potential wasn't being met

Klare Empfehlung.
Pros:

Wir waren drei Tage hier im Juni 2026. ein feines, kleines Boutique-Hotel. Sehr charmant und freundlich! Liebevoll gestaltet und sehr persönlich geführt. Trotz der zentralen Lage ruhig gelegen.

Pros:

The location was perfectly situated between the beach and beachside restaurants (approx 1km) and the old town shopping and restaurants (approx 0.5km)

The staff were amazing, from the owners to the cleaning staff.

Cons:

There are other complaints about the hotel, and I would agree the pool is relatively small, but I provides a nice afternoon break from the beach.

Palazzino di Corina - Ein Juwel im Herzen von Rethymno
Pros:

Wunderschönes, kleines, familiäres Stadthotel mit sehr herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern nur wenige Schritte von der trubeligen Altstadt Rethymnos entfernt. Unser Zimmer lag sehr ruhig zum Innenhof, war sehr sauber und hatte bequeme Betten. Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet mit selbstgemachten Marmeladen und gegrilltem Gemüse. Obwohl wir am letzten Tag schon sehr früh abreisen mussten, durften wir schon vor 6.00 Uhr im Frühstücksbereich frühstücken. Auch das hoteleigene Restaurant ist für das Abendessen sehr empfehlenswert. Auf dem Parkplatz am Venezianischen Hafen (Entfernung 300 - 400 m) kann man für 17 Euro für 24 Stunden relativ preiswert parken.

Cons:

Leider ist der im Bad befindliche Föhn - zumindest für lange Haare - völlig ungeeignet.

En plein cœur de Réthymnon
Pros:

Séjour vraiment très agréable dans cette vielle bâtisse aux multiples recoins. Tout est très joli de l’espace piscine aux chambres. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent. Le personnel est aux petits soins et très souriant. La situation de l’hôtel en plein centre est un vrai plus.

Cons:

L’hôtel étant très bien situé dans le centre de la vieille ville, c’est bruyant jusqu’au bout de la nuit. C’est le jeu, il faut l’accepter. De même pour stationner, il faut accepter de faire un peu de marche pour éviter de payer. Tout est gratuit le long de la citadelle.

Was very pleasant and exactly what we expected – we enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and escorted to our rooms, which was a very nice touch! A good location for walking everywhere, very central and less than two city blocks from a convenient parking site - yet our room was quiet. Breakfast was held in the restaurant on site and plentiful with lots of options.

Cons:

Keeping in mind, this is an older building in the older part of the city, the bathrooms were modern, however, as we found in most of our lodgings, showers were not typical of what Americans are used to. It’s all handheld showerheads which can be fun and tricky at the same time!

Optimale innenstadtlage, freundliches personal, gutes Frühstück

Cons:

Unser Zimmer 'Sapho' , also Zimmer 38, hat leider das Restaurantküchen-abluftrohr im Zimmer verlaufend, wss Geräusche vegursacht.
Dann geht ab 0.30 der Disco-club gegenüber los mit spürbar wummernden Bässen.

Bitte investieren sie, um ihren Gästen einen adäquaten und durchgängigen Standard anzubieten
Pros:

Sehr nette Menschen, die dort arbeiten. Die Lage ist klasse. Sehr gutes Bett. Es ist alles sehr sauber und am Empfang konnte die Dame uns einen prima Überblick über die Stadt vermitteln.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer entspricht nicht dem Standard, wie es angeboten wird. Sehr veraltet und dringend zu renovieren. Ebenso das Mobiliar auf dem Balkon.
Ich glaube, dass es im Haus auch renovierte Zimmer gibt. Dann sollte das bitte bekanntgegeben und preislich unterschieden werden.
Das Frühstück mit abgepackter Butter u Marmelade sowie Obst aus dem Glas hat in diesem Haus nichts verloren. Da kann gerne verbessert werden um mit den Mitbewerbern in dieser Kategorie mitzuhalten oder sich bestenfalls abzuheben.

Great location. Very helpful and nice staff and the room were very clean and comfy.
Pros:

The location was perfect! Really close walking distance to restaurants and the heart of old town. The staff were soo helpful and they organised flowers to come on my mums birthday for me. Also the rooms are comfy and clean

The shower in our room was in a bath tub and the shower head wasn’t very good
