Pros:

Auberge de jeunesse dans un ancien immeuble de rapport, fréquenté par les russes, au 3e étage sans ascenseur, dans un quartier populaire un peu excentre
6 chambres, 2 douches et 2 toilettes, cuisine communautaire ( cafetière, bouilloire, grille pain, frigo ... à disposition.
Chambre simple mais propre
Personnel TRÈS gentil et ambiance géniale
Demandez leur de réserver le taxi pour vous, ce sera bcp moins cher, sinon station de métro Baltiskaya à 900m ( ticket jeton 45 roubles, 0,60€ )
Petit déjeuner inclus : porridge, pain confiture, céréales

Pros:

A comfortable stay and a friendly host. We liked the interior decorations and the lovely breakfast.

Small and quirky hotel
Pros:

It is quite difficult to find the actual entrance, a larger sign would help, but the staff were helpful, decor was quirky and not far from the metro, 10 min walk then access to everywhere. Up several flights of stairs so not really easy if you have lots of luggage. The basic breakfast was more than adequate and is good value.

Small but perfect "mini" hotel
Pros:

Staff friendly & accommodating, decor quirky, room & facilities exceptionally clean. Only drawback for us was carting heavy bags up the 4 flights of stairs (no lift) but staff helped us with this too. Really good value.

Pros:

Apartment is short taxi ride from main hotel, compact and perfectly positioned from metro to Nevsky. Bakers around corner. Maybe small bit dark but not an issue for us. Bathroom and shower are great. Percolator for coffee. Recommend Highly. Staff very helpful from giving us a link to get invitation to registering our stay after we arrived.
