Aeolos Beach Resort

I was at Aeolos Beach relaxing on the beach and drinking beers,it is the best place to stay and enjoy your holiday with perfect staff.I will definitely go back again.

Excellent choice, family friendly easy access to the village! Great hospitality! Many thing to do from sea activities to gum and a chill relaxed night at the lounge area !

Located in Malia with easy access to tavernas, nightclubs and bars, this hotel holds a good position.
The hotel has extremely hard working staff who work tirelessly to try and make a good experience for guests, in a hotel with limited possibiities. There is a beach with loungers, but although part of the hotel, one is expected to pay 10€ each for the priviledge of enjoying them.
There are beach actvities (paragliding,banana, sofa rides etc plus jet ski), all at a cost, as these are all open to the public.
We enjoyed the small, but well maintained pool area. There is a second pool for children, but not many used it, sadly.
Board basis is bed and breakfast, but guests were forbidden from having their own food at the pool area, as there is a beach bar selling drinks and snacks. I think this opens at night for business.
The restaurant area is plain and unassuming and reasonably comfortable.
The area is closed outside of mealtimes, therefore if it rains families would be restricted to rooms or the beach bar.
The restaurant area was kept spotlessly clean and the somewhat limited culinary efforts were always well stocked. Any spillage was rapidly removed. Guests cleared their own tables which was new to us, but maybe thats a 3 star thing.
The rooms were well attended, and kept spotless by hard working and very pleasant staff.
All in all, if you are looking for sunshine in a pleasant but unexciting setting at a reasonable initial cost then this is the place for you. Bear in mind the added costs - aircon, changing beach towels, room safe and drinks by the pool etc.

Unfortunately tonight we raised the fact that the chicken kebabs were not cooked properly and still pink inside. Disappointing that the tray wasn’t removed from the buffet to be cooked properly, we only received a sorry apology after an example was shown to the chef.

We had an amazing time at the resort,
and I had lots of fun at the beach with my family.
The drinks at the bar were really good and the staff didn’t disappoint either.
We also went on a lot of fun trips from here for example to Knossos

We took paragliding tour from Aeolos. Just breath taking! Follow carefull what staff say to you! I took wrong position on jet ski and we got overturned, ouch 🫣

Me and my Family had a very nice time together. We are very happy with our holidays. We did so much together. We did Golf, Waterpark, Go Kart and we were at the Caves of Matala.

Was awesome experience you must try it for sure !! I felt secure in whole process from the start to the end so no worries just try it !!

Was greeted straight away by a friendly man. Gave me all the information I needed and I selected my sport. The whole team are amazing and make it fun. My son and I really enjoyed it definitely 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Amazing! I had so much fun with my cousins. It’s our first day in Malia, and it started in such a crazy way! I reccomend this activity.

It was good, fun, and an exciting experience. Riding the jetski was amazing – full of speed, adrenaline, and freedom on the water. The view from the sea was beautiful and it gave us a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. The staff was helpful, everything felt safe, and we really enjoyed every moment. A great activity for couples, friends, or anyone who wants to try something new and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

L’établissement est parfaitement situé et le personnel est au top du top. Rien à dire juste que vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés 👌👌😍😍

Oh except for the security man used the bathroom just before leaving he informed us we wouldn't be doing that again (whilst my husband waited at the entrance near the beach) and I said excuse me he asked if I understood English and informed me I wouldnt be doing that again as it is reserved only for guests of the hotel I tried to inform him we had just eaten and drank there he walked away and ignored me.......... Rude...... What a shame

I had an amazing time!! Accomodation in a half board resort in the center of Malia is a real value for money deal. Really friendly staff, great facilities, the rooms were clean,nice with great view. The water sports and pools were really fun, the kids had a great time and the beach was also amazing. Kudos to Katerina the receptionist for the useful information regarding Malia !

A really nice value for money resort in Crete

Location:
Even you hesitated at first due to its proximity to the bustling “party street”, the hotel is very quiet , with a very convenient location by the sea and close to Malia Center. Parking space is also plentiful.

Room:
I stay at the end of July in a deluxe room with a countryside, mountain and sea view. The room was clean , modern and well groomed with a nice spacious balcony.

Communal areas:
The gardens are lovely with numerous palm trees all over the establishment. The pools ( smaller with waterslides and bigger by the beach ) are clean and quite nice. Beach is also clean ( water and sand). Do not miss view of the sunset from the hotel’s beach and beach bar!Food/Drinks:
The beach bar/restaurant is modern , has a nice selection of food options (try the Greek pasta ) and fancy cocktails ( try mojito with some of their own mint).
Buffet (breakfast and dinner ) has a great variety of food (try the greek pies ) and also a nice view of the sea.

Other amenities :
-Spacious reception with showers and luggage storage after check out was provided
- Water sports were also fun (try the parasailing, even if it is scary !)

Overall nice experience, I will totally visit again !

Overall nice hotel and the beach is very close. There’s things to improve though. It was disappointing to find out that in order to have an air con we had to pay extra €7 per day, also the food was not always fresh, many times it was food from the previous day.

We visited Malia in August and decided to go parasailing with aeolos.

We got transported to the boat on the banana behind a jetski, so it was a nice little & free ride on the banana boat! Laughed so much together.

Amazing food and excellent beach ! The stuff was also very friendly! A must visit in Malia ! I recommend also the water sports, especially the sofa and the banana. The waterslides were also extremely fun and entertaining for me and my friends

We visited Malia comming from France so we had ten days in Aeolos.
We had a very great time in aeolos hotel in Malia. The staff was always available and nice to us. Beach, swimming pool, water sports and the room were on top, we reccomand !
The breakfast and dinner buffet was on top also.
