Fabulous hotel
Pros:

A beautiful authentic hotel, very clean and great facilities. All staff are very attentive, nothing is too much trouble and a special thank you to the brother and sister bar staff who stayed after their shift ended to serve us drinks.
The pool area is well maintained/served. For anyone wondering about the pool size, it's ideal for cooling off after a day of sight seeing. Guests were not selfish re sunbeds. There's only 8 but plenty of chairs/tables to leave your things whilst in the pool. We didn't find it an issue. The hotel provides pool towels as a courtesy, freshly laundered.
Hotel room was lovely and equipped with tea/coffee facilities and mini bar. All very reasonably priced.
Poolside food was lovely and good value.
Bullata Bay is an easier walk back up to the hotel then Sliema waterfront in the heat.
Would highly recommend this fabulous hotel.

Good value 4* atmospheric hotel, perfect for visiting Malta
Pros:

Historic hotel; clean, large enough room, with balcony & a rear, quiet view; very kind staff; good buffet breakfast; walking distance to most important destinations in Sliema;

breakfast lacks variety; very poor Wi-Fi; small swimming pool;

Hotel experience
Pros:

We like the hotel but we had a few issues. Our room by the dining room was quite noisy early in the morning. It would be nice by the pool if you had more than one umbrella. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Also it was a shame our tour operators didn’t tell us about your rooms with balcony’s as we would have booked one of those.

Lovely hotel
