My Place Hotel- Salt Lake City I-215/West Valley City, UT

Our power went out but they offered a different room which we denied because we were going to sleep anyway so we didn’t need the lights. They fixed it immediately the next morning. No issues after that.

I requested to be on 4th floor 3 weeks before I arrived and they didn’t even try to accommodate me. She simply said we sold out. I told her I put in the request three weeks ago and she just kept saying the same thing. I also paid for a room that had a recliner due to I had a recent knee surgery and they put me in the wrong room. I called down to speak with the front desk and she told me that’s the room I paid for. I told her I had the confirmation and she said bring it down. I brought it down and had to physically show her. My knee was hurting from the long drive and I was again put out because she didn’t believe me. Then she said I do have a room with a recliner. So she had one all along she just didn’t want to do her job. The outlet plugs were all wobbly and loose but two of them, and the handle on the toilet was very hard to flush, it was broke. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. I won’t be returning to this establishment and I am sorry I love to recommend places, but I cannot out of good conscience ever recommend this hotel or any of your My Place hotels. I will say after the experience with the front desks the young lady did try to be more helpful. I believe she was doing her job. The only thing I would like to convey is if she had the room I paid for to just put me into that room, especially since they never honored my first request of being on the top floor. I wasn’t asking for anything that I didn’t pay for.

Washroom was comparatively small.
Moreover, there were no kitchen utensils despite having the kitchenette we couldn’t use it

Staff was not pleasant. Acted like we were an inconvenience to her. The room was not as advertised. She was rude as hell. Bed said Queen when i booked it. It was a full bed. Checked out fifteen minutes after i checked in and found another hotel. Would and will not stay there again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. That was a waste of 167 dollars for me. Hotel next door was way better. Will never book that place again

Wow there's so much the room needed a lot of little repairs it was banged up a lot. Fridge didnt soek. Even after adjusting it it would not get cold at all it stayed at the same room temp the whole time coming in there was some dirty feminine hygiene thing behind the toilet that wasn't picked up the bed look like maybe one of them hadn't been slept on or it was slipped on very little and they had just kind of tidied up the sheet you could see underneath it had been slept in and the air conditioner the air conditioner was so loud that I had to turn it off and then when I got too warm I would turn it on and I was up all night and I have videos of that was so loud it was unbelievable someone at the other end was smoking pot which you can't control but the whole room and the whole hallway wreaked of it. And don't get me started on the breakfast the value was okay a little bit more than I would want to pay for the situation but I just will never stay there again there's better options with less problems around that area

I didn't like the fact that it says $100 deposit and it's really $200 deposit

I don't think they could have made it a better stay.

Didn’t have any silverware to use with microwave and refrigerator
