Right in the heart of Old Town with great views
Pros:

We had a really lovely stay at Erietta Suites. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Old Town, and the view from the apartment is breathtaking, overlooking the harbor and lighthouse, it’s truly a prime spot.

The host was very friendly and helpful, always ready with great recommendations and flexible with anything we needed, which made our stay very smooth and comfortable.

Overall, a great place to stay in Chania, and we would definitely recommend it!

Cons:

Nothing to dislike, everything was great.

Absolutely a wonderful stay. The central location was fabulous and the view of the harbor was stunning. But the service and the attentiveness of our host made the stay exceptional. From arranging and rearranging airport transportation (even with flight issues), car rental, recommendations for things to do and places to eat….the experience was unmatched and felt like we were in a high quality hotel.

Cons:

One thing to keep in mind is that the room with a balcony is right over a restaurant that plays loud music until about midnight. But this is not the fault of Erietta Suites.

This view is everything. Exceptional spot tucked into old Chania town, clean, good management, we loved our stay!

Perfect place to start a trip to Crete
Pros:

First of all, Satiris met us on arrival (in the evening!), and gave us all kinds of good advice, and thereafter he was always responsive to questions via text when we needed ideas, which led us to some amazing places during our stay. On long trips, I've learned to stay longer in the first place, to acclimate and get over jetlag. So staying in the old part of Chania where we could walk around seemed like a good plan. We did end up going on some long drives to interior mountains and the northwestern coast, but Satiris had helpful tips about those other places as well. The room in the antique building was worth the 42 steps up (which sound like more than it is), as we stayed in the very charming unit with a loft bedroom and a balcony overlooking the old Venetian harbor (which we never got sick of looking at). One important aspect of this place being a good choice for us was that we arrived in the off-season (November), so while the air there was still unseasonably medium-warm, the scene there was chill, without the summer-season crush of tourists (which I suspect can make the harbor area crowded and noisy). I would not choose to stay at in the harbor area during the high season (I would probaby run to the mountains somewhere), but that's no dig at Arietta, which is perfect.

Location was in the heart of Old Chania town Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Very comfortable.

There were a few stairs to negotiate. Staff made us aware of this before the fully refundable cancellation date.

Perfect location, perfect host, perfect space in beautiful Chania.
Pros:

The location of this property was amazing. Right in the heart of the Old Harbor, you can be anywhere in minutes. The place was comfortable and had soul, you could feel the history of the property. Our host was always a message away, and gave us many recommendations that were fantastic. He was knowledgeable and available. The space was exactly as advertised, but the pictures of the view can’t quite capture the majesty of the location. This was a phenomenal place to stay.

Cons:

We did not mind the stairs and knew about them before booking, but someone with infirmity may not be able to take the stairs.
