Modernity Suites

We made two, one night reservations at this hotel and two other couples made their own reservations directly through the hotel. When we arrived, they only had one room available and said that we 'broke their system' by reserving too many rooms. The only saving grace is that it was low season and the owner had family members that owned hotels close by. One couple was given a Room at the Modernity, one couple was at another hotel and the third couple was given a room at a third hotel. All were fairly close by, but there is no excuse for this. All of us had been in contact with the hotel via email for a couple of transfers. They did send someone to meet us at the airport but didn't tell us about the hotel mixup until we tried to check in. In fact, the owner blamed us for the issues, never really accepting his errors. Again, we were very greatful that it was low season and the owner found an acceptable resolution.

Spectacular view. Private. The Perfect place in Santorini! Close to many restaurants, bars and shopping. Delicious breakfast and amazing service. Will be back as soon as possible.

Excellent option for an excellent view and right in the heart of town. There were three of us and we had one of the larger rooms as pictured on the site. Modern boutique style which I like. Vladimir was very friendly and helpful. Concierge is not on site all day if that is something you desire (we didn’t care and our texts were always acknowledged and assistance was provided when needed). There are STEEP steps as expected so caution to people who can’t handle that. The breakfast was a la carte and you had to order the day before. I felt the options were good. This was my third time in Santorini. I recommend this boutique style hotel.

Absolutely loved this hotel! You can’t beat the views. Vlad was a great host and took care of us like we were family.

Vladimir and Peter are amazing, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel has a beautiful view of Santorini and the volcano. The rooms are spectacular and cozy and gives you a feel of how its like to live in Santorini. The breakfast they offer is very great and tasty. I high oh recommend this establishment to anyone.

You don't need to go to Oia for a sun set you have it there with a smile.

Location is superb, right in the heart of Fira, so many shopping around and just 2 mins walk to the Main Street. The only down side of the property is so much narrow stairs up and down makes it hard to move big suitcases.
Ada who was our contact person during the stay was gorgeous, she took care of us even before we arrived. She sent us a lot of good info about car rental, activities to book, dining places, and arranged transportation from the port for us. Breakfast menu has a large variety of choices and we loved it being served till 11am.
The room is lovely, spotless clean and our plunge pool faces to the caldera which was a bonus for enjoying the ocean and sunset. During the night even it is in the center of Fira, it’s so quiet probably due to their building construction.
We rented a small car for 2 days which I recommend to do so as it made our life easier to get around between Fira, Oia, and the beaches. Parking is sketchy though, we parked at the lot across the McDonald’s which was suggested by Ada but that parking lot is popular and people kinda park “very freestyle”, glad that we had a small car.
Overall we enjoyed our stay so much, we definitely will come back.

Amazing views! Location was awesome, quaint rooms, delicious breakfast, and very friendly staff, Ada gave lots of great recommendations! We were here end of season when it was a bit chilly, wouldn’t call the hot tub hot… it was only warm.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean the staff are very friendly and helpful, the Location is great fantastic views over the Caldera,I would highly recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed my three nights in paradise! Amazing views from the hot tub and very private. Close to all the action and great staff. I especially enjoyed having a breakfast tray delivered to the hot tub area each day!

The property was a unique cave with all modern facilities. Hot tub.

This property has an amazing view of the caldera with its own plunge pool. The breakfast was delivered every morning and was delicious and the customer service was impeccable! It’s right out the door to all the shops and restaurants.

Et helt fantastisk opphold! Rent, fantastisk utsikt, nært alle restauranter, utesteder og butikker og ikke minst ekstremt god service. Kunne kontakte eier til et hvert tidspunkt og fikk bistand med alt fra transport til og fra flyplassen til bestilling av aktiviteter og anbefalinger til mat og opplevelser. Meget fornøyde!
