Fiscardonna Luxury Suites

As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a strong musty smell. During our stay, we realized that this was probably related to the housekeeping policy. Rooms are cleaned every other day, so since we stayed for two nights, our room was never serviced.

This might not be an issue for rooms with balconies, but ours had no balcony and the windows had no mosquito nets, so keeping them open was not really an option. As a result, damp towels remained in the room for two days, the bathroom could not dry properly, and the shower curtain around the jacuzzi (which guests are not allowed to use) showed visible signs of mold. The curtain also allowed water to leak onto the bathroom floor, leaving the bath mat wet for the entire stay, as it was never replaced.

We contacted the property on our first day regarding a few missing items and a Smart TV that was not working, but unfortunately we never received a response. Another downside is that there is no reception or staff on site, making it difficult to get assistance when needed.

We also found numerous notices in the apartment beginning with “Don’t…”, listing things guests should not do. We felt that a property describing itself as “Luxury” should also focus at least as much on the quality of the guest experience as on the list of restrictions.

Overall, while the location was excellent, we unfortunately did not feel that the accommodation offered value for the price we paid.

A little dark and no outside space but very handy for everything.

I understand everyone expectations of 4star is different, but that's just our opinion

The photo of the model in a wonderful suite with balcony was def not our room. We did not have a balcony you could sit out on. Or go out on. In short not too much luxury. There was instructions not leaving any make up on the sheets, but the counter pane although not dirty had old dirt marks on. There were an awful lot of rules to follow. In addition as a deterrent on having air con on at night, the fan light would not go out unless card taken out. 3 rd C/B from the left. In short not a bad place but certainly not luxury.

No one at reception on arrival, door locked. Had to get adjacent shop owner to call them. To be fair they arrived quickly once called.

Black mould in bathroom, bath not in use (long term not just for our stay), key card turned off aircon while out so very warm, lots of signs of what not to do everywhere which felt unwelcoming, didn’t feel the 9.3 rating lived up to expectation. Old water left in the coffee machine and kettle.

The air conditioning did not work. It was so hot and no air circulation. There was a fan, thank goodness. The place smelled like mildew. There was no staff around. We had to buy ice cream at the shop next door and just happened to mention we were trying to contact the place as we were staying there that night and could not get a hold of anyone. I believe he was the owner of the place and said he could call the guy. The guy showed up, gave us the key and left. There were signs to not get makeup on the sheets or use the towels to remove your makeup but they provided nothing to use. Luckily we only stayed for one night or we would have been looking for a new place.

Camere troppo piccole

the jacuzzi bath was broken, as was the light on the mirror, and one of the taps on the sink didn’t operate well. I’m 5ft8 and fit and struggled to climb into the bath to have a shower. Overall, I don’t think the apartment would be suitable for anyone with mobility issues, as there are steep stairs to the nearest car park, stairs up to the apartment and the bath issue.
Even though there were two of us in the room, we were only given one glass and one small bottle of water in the fridge. There were no tea bags or milk and just 2 coffee pods for the machine.

O wifi foi um ponto bem ruim. Ficamos no último andar, e só tem um repetidor no corredor, e a conexão não funcionava. Precisam resolver isso.

Uma coisa a se considerar é que fica bem dentro da cidade, então o estacionamento mais próximo é um pouco afastado, se forem levar malas.

The property just did not meet standards expected from this price range.
You certainly cannot prepare food in the kitchen, even though the staff tried to assist and was very kind - the basics were not available in the room , the bathroom was not clean the fridge was dirty, the bathroom was not prepared.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

First, the hotel contacted me the day before I checked in via BOoking.com chat asking me to be prepared to pay with a different credit card than the card I used to reserve the room because suddenly their POS did not take American Express. You cannot wait until your guests are already in Europe to demand a different credit card! I simply did not have one and it was a GIANT hassle. If I didn't show up, would their machine magically have taken the card? You can't change the rules AFTER the fact.
Furthermore, I was kept up the entire last night by a British couple who were screaming their heads off and physically fighting and the hotel did nothing about my repeated messages telling them what was going on. They did not even apologize once for the inconvenience or that the couple in the room next to us kept us up all night long. It was HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Also, the air fresheners in the hall are so toxic and have to go. No one wants to sleep in a building with toxic smelling scented smells throughout the building.

Aircon (pre set temperature) takes a while to cool the room. Bathroom needs overhaul. Jacuzzi not in operation and hasn’t been for over a year. Shower over bath/jacuzzi and whilst OK for us would be no good if you have mobility issues. No satellite TV channels as advertised (no World Cup viewing ) . Too many signs telling us what not to do!!! We found the hot water nowhere near hot enough. When we enquired via bookings.com message (reception always vacant) we were advised temperature is fine and no other residents had complained. We must have abnormally hot showers!!!! Remember that if you want room serviced/bins emptied to activate the ‘clean my room’ light otherwise they will not come in. This wasn’t made clear to us on check in.
