White Rocks Hotel Kefalonia

The hotel is in a stunning location, very clean and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The food at the hotel is also very good. We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay here again.

Ein wunderbares Hotel, direkt an der Steilküste am türkisen glasklaren Meer. Traumhaft schön!
Die gesamte Anlage ist etwas weitläufig, was ich aber als sehr angenehm empfunden habe, da es sich so gut verläuft und jeder ein tolles Plätzchen findet - am Pool (mit sehr vielen Liegen und mega bequemen Liege"säcken" - ein Traum!), am privaten Kiesel-/Steinstrand, oder am öffentlichen riesigen Sandstrand.

Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr sauber, auch die Pflanzenbereiche usw - ständig wuseln freundliche Angestellte herum :)
Der Privatstrand ist ein Traum, mega Aussicht und ruhige Lage "weg vom Schuss". Hier sind Steine beim reingehen (hat uns nicht gestört). Daher: für Kinder empfiehlt sich der öffentliche Sandstrand, der in nur 3 min direkt über eine Stiege vom Hotel zu erreichen ist.

Restaurant bzw Frühstück und Dinner top - immer viel Auswahl, sowohl griechische Speisen, als auch internationale. Für jeden etwas dabei. Auch hier: viele Angestellte, die ständig alles sauber halten, nachreichen, sollte etwas aus sein. Perfekt! Auch gibt es eine kleine "Showküche", wo morgens zb Pancakes und Egg Royal gemacht werden oder abends gegrillt wird. Der Koch schaut immer mal wieder raus, ob alles passt. Man isst von fast allen (!) Tischen mit direktem Blick aufs blaue Meer - traumhaft schön!
Hinweis: das zweite Restaurant - Lungomare - haben wir nicht besucht, dazu können wir daher nichts sagen.

Das Personal ist super freundlich, hilfsbereit, immer gut gelaunt, genau so, wie man sich tolles Hotel-Personal vorstellt! Allen voran möchte ich hier Vassilis (von der Rezeption bzw der Supervisor, glaube ich?) erwähnen - er macht einen großartigen Job und weiß sofort Rat und bietet eine schnelle Lösung, sollte einem irgendeine Kleinigkeit nicht ganz passen. Großes Lob an dieser Stelle, insbesondere an Vassilis, aber auch an das gesamte weitere Personal!

perfect location, just near Lassi for evening activities, very close to airport and to Argostili. free parking lot with lots of space. private beach (with rocks) , great pool area! , direct access to one of the public beaches of Lasi area with white send - amazing. very good breakfast, and amazing sunset vires - the best ones!
Evening restaurant (menu) was great one also. even the pool bar served great food.
as per the room - there are several room types. I would suggest to pay extra and take at least sea view. otherwise it can be a bit noise from the road next to the hotel.
the bed size is good one, but the bed itself is not comfortable.
bathroom is just nice. I think that setting shower instead of bath can be better, cause the height of the bath is too much.
hairdryer - don't count on it... very poor one.
in general the room is just fine. clean and good size , but not luxury one for such kind of hotel.
keep in mind that there is a lot to walk for each place (beach, pool, restaurant, parking, bar, main area etc.) , and the hotel is not accessible in easy way for disable people ... (you have to go by stairs for the dinner restaurant, and must pass some stairs to go to pool area\main building. also for coming from the parking lot, you need to go down some amount of stairs ...

מקום מהמם הכל מושקע נקי ויפה. קרוב לחוף כייפי ויפה ! שדרגו אותנו לחדר גדול ומהמם עם הנוף לים מטורף. המיקום מושלם 5 דק נסיעה משדה התעופה.
האוכל סך הכל טוב. החסרון היחיד היא כמות המדרגות שאי אפשר להמנע ממנה אז עם תינוק בעגלה יכול להיות מאתגר. אנחנו ביקשנו לשמור את העגלה בקבלה בכניסה והם זרמו איתנו בכייף. הצוות אדיב ושירותי. הייתה לנו חוויה טובה ומרגיעה מקווים לחזור

White Lotus Feeling, alles war perfekt, wir kommen gerne wieder. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Lage unmittelbar oberhalb des Meeres (direkter Zugang zu zwei Stränden), die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die ganze Anlage an sich, alles sehr stimmig, elegant und angenehm. Der Parkplatz gegenüber ist sehr praktisch und man erreicht alles auf der Insel von dort aus, zur Hauptstadt ist es auch nur ein Katzensprung. Das Essen in verschiedenen Restaurants und Snackbars war auch sehr gut. Insgesamt ist man sehr gut aufgehoben und wird sehr freundlich betreut. Die Betten waren auch gut, das Zimmer war sehr sauber, alles vorhanden und sehr komfortabel.

Beautiful location and stunning hotel

We had an exceptional stay at the White Rocks Hotel in September. The property is beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! We would especially like to thank Stephanie at the front desk, who on arrival greeted us outside with a big smile before we even entered the hotel! Her professionalism and warmth made check-in and the rest of our vacation an awesome experience.

Visited in late September with my sister! Beautiful hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there! Room was spotless and very comfortable. Only slight problem was with the shower being inside the bath, I could manage ok, but my sister had a wee bit of difficulty with that! Having said that, both of us have had extensive hip surgery and, taking our time, found no real difficulty with the slopes or steps! Helped us work off the calories from the lovely food! Must mention the staff, we found everyone so helpful, they all seemed happy at their posts! We are hoping to visit again next year! I have been learning a little Greek, as I love visiting Greece, and my very amateur efforts were very patiently received by all the staff, very much appreciated! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely relaxing break in beautiful surroundings!

Everything superb, a most pleasant experience on every level. Sea view room essential.
Only improvement would be lower the lighting levels, it’s rather stark on long dark October evenings, and create more bar atmosphere, ie stools and happy hour?? Then it truly would be 5*

מלון מושלם. עיצוב נקי, יפה ובטוב טעם. לובי נעים ומרווח. ארוחת בוקר מצוינת. מלון ממוקם קרוב מאוד לשדה תעופה, לעיר ועל חוף ים. למלון חנייה מסודרת ומרווחת. הצוות היה אדיב מאוד ושירותי, נענה לכל בקשה בחיוך ובחיוב. הזמנו 6 חדרים סטנדרטיים של לינה וארוחת בוקר. מיוזמתם וללא בקשה שלנו שדרגו שני חדרים לנוף לים והוזמנו לארוחת ערב במשך כל שהותנו.

Very nice stay

This is a beautiful hotel and very clean and well maintained.

The room we had was a sea view room and its defiantly worth paying the extra for this view.
The room itself is spacious, the bed is comfortable and big, the room also has tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge.

The only downside to the room is the aircon is locked into 19 deg and cant be changed which i think is not very good as the room can get stuffy sometimes.

Breakfast and dinner is included in half-board, the breakfast is good with many options and a few gluten free items...dinner is a buffet and has different options each night...the only thing I found a bit disappointing is the food is not hot, only warm at best, this is something that really needs looking into as the food itself is good.

We booked the Lungomare A la Carte restaurant which is down stairs and the food and service down there is very good I recommend you eat there at least once on your holiday.

The hotel has its own beach which is quite rocky but is fine for sunbathing on the loungers....sea shoes are recommended if you want to go into the sea.

Overall a very good hotel just needs a few tweaks with temperature of the buffet food and the aircon and it would be perfect.
