Hotel LeVeque, Autograph Collection

The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The common areas were very well kept and pleasant. I did not eat there, but I like that it was an option.

The hotel was stunning.

Great location for the Ohio Theater and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Parking garage connected via Second floor was a great perk! Restaurant personnel were friendly and worked hard.

I wanted to stay at the Hotel LeVeque in Columbus, OH on New Year's Eve 2025/2026 but I scammer fraudulent took my room. I was unaware of the scam until I was getting ready to check in and this particular person stole my room for the night. I reported the crime to the Hotel Front Desk Agent, Ntandokazie Yordi and her manager and they both work diligently to uncover what they could to help me feel well taken care of (above and beyond their call of duty). I did have lunch at the Keep Restaurant on site on December 30, 2025 and met the Chef Eddie .. he is fantastic and the food is AWESOME I highly recommend staying at the Hotel LeVeque because of the awesome staff, atmosphere, and food.

Nice and classic

Fantastic stay at LeVeque in downtown Columbus. The hotel is beautiful and full of character, with a great location close to restaurants, attractions, and the riverfront. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout the stay. Check-in was smooth and everything felt well organized. Would absolutely recommend LeVeque and would gladly stay here again.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay for my birthday was perfect. The staff supplied me with champagne and Carmel snacks. I can’t wait to return.

Hotel Leveque is a great place to stay when doing anything in downtown Columbus, but it is THE place to stay when going to a show/concert at the Palace theater. It is literally next door. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, from the the front desk to the maids. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Food in The Keep restaurant and bar was very good. We will definitely try to stay here again.

We checked in and got on the elevator to our room. It got stuck between floors and we were trapped for 45 minutes. Apparently some drunk people from an event jumped in the elevator right before us and broke something that caused it to malfunction when we got in.

The fire department had to come pry the doors open. We literally had to crawl out through a small opening with our luggage (see photo). And the other elevators? Also problematic. Rattling, doors scraping when opening and closing. Clearly this building has serious elevator maintenance issues. Other problems: The minibar had expired items. When we checked out, the valet gave us the wrong set of keys - someone else's car keys.

Management response: Complete silence. We stayed for 3 nights and not one person from management came to check on us, called our room, or even acknowledged this happened. Nothing.

When I brought it up at checkout and said I expected to hear from someone, they finally called 5 hours later. Their offer? 50% off the room and free minibar. That's it. For being trapped in an elevator for 45 minutes and having to be rescued by firefighters? The only person who actually helped was Liz at the front desk. She was great.

Bottom line: This hotel has serious problems. Drunk guests breaking elevators, poor maintenance, and management that ghosts you when something goes wrong.
Stay somewhere else.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Hotel LeVeque -- after many visits to Columbus, this is, without question, the best and most centrally located property possible. What a bonus that it is such a beautiful hotel, made all the more special by an incredible team who, to a person, did what they could to make sure our stay went as smoothly as possible. We were lucky enough to work with Brent at the front desk, who provided exceptional, kind, thoughtful customer service. His recommendations for meals and activities were perfect -- honestly, most of the highlights of our trip came from Brent's input! A huge thank you to Brent for all he did to make our stay so special. At The Keep Kitchen & Liquor Bar, Patrick was a star, creating world class cocktails and contributing to our overall enjoyment of our trip. Without question, we will return to Hotel LeVeque when we return to Columbus!
