I travel for work with my work wife, whose standards for hotels can best be described as “bougie with an excellent breakfast,” so we end up in a lot of Autograph Collection properties. This trip brought us to the LeVeque.
I opened the door to my room and literally stopped in my tracks. My first thought: Can the interior designer come do my house next? The decor is gorgeous. One of my favorite discoveries was that the gold framing around the mirrors and bed? Plastic. The crisscross “marble” lamp bases? Also plastic. Honestly, brilliant. They look exactly like the kind of ridiculously heavy gold frames and marble lamps that would double as murder weapons in a Dateline episode.
The bathroom is huge, the towels are fluffy, and there’s a separate privacy door for the toilet—an underrated luxury when traveling.
My only room complaint: the shampoo has that generic “guy cologne” scent that never quite smells as good as its creators think it does.
The hotel’s artwork is classy, and the bar area is comfortable with plenty of couches for lounging. The drinks, however, are pricey. At those prices, the martinis should arrive with special effects—a bubble on top that explodes into smoke, minimum.
A minor annoyance: the lobby ran out of Diet Coke for purchase. Unfortunately, Marriott doesn’t seem to give employees a small emergency soda fund to run out and buy a case.
As for parking, valet would have been nice, but instead you park in the garage around the corner. The attached walkway makes it easy enough, though.
Overall: beautiful hotel, stunning rooms, great atmosphere, and only a few minor gripes.
Everything about Hotel Leveque was exceptional. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully kept. Special shoutout to Kwanele and Yordi at check-in, and Crystal at checkout — they were welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay smooth. Location was perfect and the atmosphere felt calm + high-end without being stuffy. Honestly worth every penny. Would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone visiting.
I highly recommend this hotel for their friendly staff, cleanliness, beautiful aesthetic, and walking distance to restaurants and breweries in the Columbus area. Nangilo was very welcoming from start to finish. He was attentive and made sure everything was okay with our stay.
Our room had the river view and it was as shown on the pictures online. It lived up to our expectations. If we are back in the area, we are definitely staying there again.
During our drive to New York City, my partner and I decided to stay at Hotel LeVeque, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and genuinely helpful, especially with the overwhelming amount of luggage we were traveling with. Everyone made the experience feel effortless and warm.
We stayed in Suite 707, and the room was absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail throughout the suite was stunning, and one of my favorite touches was the constellation design above the bed that you could lay there and gaze at in the evening. It made the room feel unique and memorable.
The shower was fantastic, the towels were soft and luxurious, and the entire hotel had such an elegant atmosphere while still feeling comfortable and relaxed.
We also had dinner at The Keep and it was exceptional. The food was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious from start to finish.
Wonderful location, beautiful ambiance, and an experience we will genuinely remember. We would absolutely stay here again.
Hotel Leveque is an elegant hotel full of old-world charm and modern amenities. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and impeccable. The staff were friendly and helpful and took pride in their work.
The service at the Keep, the hotel's main restaurant, was painfully slow. Our meals frequently took upwards of an hour or more and often, 45 minutes or more of that time was spent waiting for our entrees. Even appetizers could take more than 30 minutes. We gave them grace because they seemed short staffed and were sincerely apologetic.
We usually love this hotel. The location, restaurant, staff are typically very enjoyable
Our room was really small for paying for a king room. The fridge had an issue overnight and we lost a bunch of food leftovers. The bathroom floor was moist and sticky.
The staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. Everything went smoothly with checking in and out. The lobby, elevator, hallways and room were very clean and quiet as well.
Not a fan of the automated system when you call the hotel. I would prefer to speak with a person at the desk as well as having a physical copy of the menu for room service, hotel information and not a QR code. But we figured it out!
This hotel is a gem. TT was the first friendly face of the valet , followed by a warm welcome by Kwanele and Yordi at the front desk. Kwanele provided a little history of the hotel and made sure I knew about the star machine in my room. It projects the night sky in the ceiling of the room. That was a first and very cool. The bathrooms are tastefully done and very clean. I enjoyed the beautiful architecture of the hotel and the jazz music playing in the lobby . Most importantly , every employee working in hospitality, housekeeping , valet, front desk - are genuinely smiling, happy and asking how my stay is . It’s nice to observe as a business traveler because it makes me more confident about the quality of the hotel . I will definitely return for my next work trip.
Extremely disappointing hotel and management. Housekeeping discarded my dental retainer and front desk staff confirmed full compensation that evening, only to walk it back the next morning, in a hostile manner no less. Management continues to deny their role. Other members of my team who stay here have had similar experiences, including charges for minibar when not using and unprofessional interactions with management.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a perfect mix of historic charm and modern comfort. The rooms were clean, stylish, and very comfortable, and the location downtown made it easy to get around and enjoy the city. One of the highlights of my visit was the excellent service from Tavi at valet. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming from the moment I arrived.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Columbus.
I had a really great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, modern, and super comfortable—everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully set up.
The service throughout the hotel was also excellent. Our highlight was Tavi at valet was especially helpful—friendly, efficient, and made both arrival and departure really smooth. It’s clear he genuinely cares about guests and goes above and beyond to make a great first and last impression for guest.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again!
They treated me great for my birthday and showered me with complimentary gifts
Hotel experience was amazing! Me and my friends really loved the vibes and everything! The valet people Tavi and Ahmed were really helpful with everything and made parking and everything easy! 10/10 service!!!
What a wonderful experience , staff accomadtions, resturant were all wonderful . I would highly recommend
Friendly staff clean room comfy bed
The hotel an outdated. Very old inside. The pictures online are false advertisement for sure
From check in to check out, the staff was wonderful, incredibly nice and thoughtful. They couldn't do enough for us and made us feel welcome at all times. Room was clean and very modern. Great location by the river for long walks. Highly recommend this hotel.
