Pros:

I had a wonderful experience at Nature Safari Resort. I wanted to spend a few days out in nature while in Nepal, and Bardia sounded great but I didn’t know how it was going to work out. I called Nature Safari and Madhu picked up immediately and said he would pick me up from the airport at Nepalganj. He was waiting right there for me when I got off the plane and personally made sure I had a great and easy time in Bardia all the way until dropping me back off IN the airport.

The resort itself is very nice. Beautiful setting with lots of outdoor space overlooking an idyllic rice patty. The room was basic, but very clean and with a comfortable bed. Madhu, Shrijana (his daughter) and the rest of the family took good care of me. The food was good and clean.

And finally, the safari trips. Madhu is the master of Bardia. He knew everything about the park and speaks good English so I could understand and ask any question. He worked very hard to give me a great experience which I did. And even though he smartly said from the beginning that he can’t guarantee seeing a tiger, his experience and intuition allowed me to see a tiger, which was really special.

I recommend anyone to stay at the Nature Safari Resort.
